I was toying around with concepts, and one came to mind, and I realized that most likely going Shaman would be the best way..but, then I got thinking, what would be the bes Mentor Spirit for(Shamans do have to have a Mentor Spirit, aka Totem, still, right?):

Rough Concept: A sort of techno shaman, with a electric guitar(a Power focus) and micro portable amps. The Shaman basicly uses music and power chords for his/her spells. Probably good at illusion and emotional manipulation spells(though, you know, some of the classic straight up raw magical attacks would also be cool..).

Also, what skill would be used for playing the guitar, anyway?

Shamans don't need a mentor spirit or totem anymore. It's certainly in keeping with tradition to have one however, and most shamans do have one. But the overarching theme of the 4th edition shaman is that they honor nature and treat Spirits with respect. Whether your Shaman models himself after Dog/Raven/Whatever or honors all aspects of nature equally is a matter of personal preferene.

Sounds more like a Chaos mage to me, but since the advent of UMT, they're all the same anyways. At any rate, it's Artisan.

Hermetics are quantum physicists, and Shamans are hippies.

I was just thinking...what does this to the whole Toxic Shaman enterprise? Talk about a day of hypocrisy.

Eh? It's the same relationship as they had in SR3. Right bastards opposing all that is decent in the world. They've even got their own totems now instead of piggybacking on regular shamans, see Street Magic.

Crazy pictures!   Huh  I don't even think I know these people, and that's hard to cope with.  I mean, you posted two pictures of random people, and I don't know them!?!? How is that possible?

Top one follows the Hindu Tradition, most likely, the bottom one is either a hermetic, or a Goldfish Shaman Wink Or a technomancer...
