Hello all,

Jumping on the band-wagon here for the heck of it.  I bounced around Seattle a good bit back in the '97/'98 time frame for a few years.  Had a great time, went from a mux-virgin to a bit more experienced.  I've looked for a S-run mux off and on since then and was always disappointed to see the activity level decrease from what it once was.  For some reason I never got too into Denver and Detroit...nothing wrong with those places, think I always preferred the Seattle setting.

I recognize pretty much all the names thrown around, rp'd with most of them at one time or another.  I always liked being an ork and rp'd most of my time as Grimm (off'ed by Crona!) and Rino.  Few other guys in there that didn't last too long.

Wish I could remember some of the names of other great pc's from back then.  I've got all my old logs on a pc I'll have to check when I get home (I'm in Iraq now).  I do remember names like Tony Tigereyes, Stumpy, Easy, Chavez, any of the old Underground crew.

Haha! So many old names.

Roland -- Neon Blader, I had no idea what I was doing
Jaime -- Ex-cop/gun-hand -- Worked with Lach and the whole crew there at the old fire house
Wesley -- Decker (retired when I went admin)
Stuart -- my admin char
Cort -- Humanis jerkface, died
Roy -- Coyote shaman (moved to Detroit at some point)
And a rigger I didn't play much after that

There were some great people around at that time though. A few I remember were Dr. John Nash, Goldeneyes, Leaphorn (the singer he played later was awesome), Lilith, Grant.. argh, memory failing me.. nope, memory gone. I remember lots of scenes, lots of players, but the names are a blank.

Daniel Blank was the singer.  Smiley  I completely forgot about him.

I knew Frost, Lance, Leaphorn, and Mako.  I'm not sure on the others.  I hardly chose to players longer than about a year, except for Victor Kratz, who I played for the longest active period time.  If I recall correctly I was playing the following characters back then:

Victor Kratz (Human, 1997 and prior - retired)
Makusu (Human, Early 1998 - assassinated very early)
Spicolli (Troll, Early 1998 - retired)
Cyman (Elf, Mid 1998 - assassinated)
Curtis (Human, Mid 1999 - retired)
Blake (Human, Early 2000 - retired)
Jimmie (Admin, Late 2000 - resigned)

VICTOR!!!!! Cool

Long time no see!!!! Glad to see you still log onto the internet and all that! Wink

I started a character on Seattle in 1994.  I remember lots of people but it's very spotty.  I recall that, at the time, I saw a lot of Arioch, Lachesis, Leaphorn... though they might have been later. Crazy Jane comes to mind.  Tron and O'Meara.  Banshee.  I think those were the people who were playing when I started.  It's all a bit hazy after, you know, more than a decade.

Hey Shades! Long time no see for you too... though not nearly as long as Victor! Smiley

Btw, anyone seen or heard from Nage in recent eons? How about some of the old staffers like Bogart? I know jade/serenity is still around from time to time, and by around I mean logs onto the internet...

Also, Hopper/Goldeneyes is still around as well. I'll have to let him know to check this forum out and say 'hey'. Smiley

Anyone seen Transworlder, or Hellion either? Or another old staffer: Howling Coyote.. .. Wow, those are old names... Merlin... Shayd... .. my head hurts.... Anyway, got tons of logs and such stretching back to 1993 or so.

oh yeah, another oldie: Eris. She hasn't been seen in eons either ,but at least with her I know why.. Smiley

Heya Nym, definately remember seeing your name around in the old days.  Not that we really RPed or anything Smiley  Sim-stars operate on a different level Cheesy

I keep in touch with Rae, but that's about it.  She keeps in touch with several more, Drae, Rubik, Theo, etc.  IIRC.

Not sure where Dan and Geoff and Mark and those guys are around these days though.  It would be really great to see alot of familiar faces when Seattle goes live.

I keep in regular touch with Drae (he's in my D&D/TSSI gaming group online) and Castaway (don't have a choice, he's my brother as much as I try to disown him). Haven't seen anyone else in a long time.

It just wouldn't be an old time reunion if I didn't pop by to say "Hi".

So "hi".

These days I don't MU* much (well, at all).  But I own a gaming store in  NJ  (http://www.gamersgambitonline.com), so if you're ever out and about in the NYC area, drop by and say hi.

Hope to see this palce up and running in 4th edition sometime soon.

Shoot me an email if you're an old timer who wants to reminisce:

Sadly no one ever seems to list my old street doc from the old days: Thad

Of course, he wasn't much of a runner, so that is understandable.

And my Mafia Button Gargoyle Shaman, Garrett was even more of a recluse, so I
can understand why no one would remember him.

Unless they remember a big boat on fire on a certain dock.....
