At the wooden bar, Tear didn't mean it like that either.  You instantly understand that Tear is awesome and not a pervert and is always right because of the twinkle in her eye.  Tear buys you a drink and you drink it, but you pay for it anyway and she doesn't have to spend any of her yen.
