Welcome to the desert of the real.

General Policies:

ICA=ICC. PrP GM rulings will be enforced. The only exceptions are cases in which the book rules or house rules are violated by the PrP GM ruling.

"Kamikaze" PrPs require admin approval (see below). Lower level PrPs do not.

PrPs must take place in the Pacific Northwest, preferably in the Seattle area itself. This assists staff in enforcing potential fallout from a PrP.

PrP plots (more than one run involved) require admin approval. This assists staff in enforcing potential fallout from a PrP. It also ensures that the PrP plot can be incorporated into the IC reality of the plot arc.

Players may serve as fixers or gms for their own PrPs, but may not take part in the PrP-run itself.

PrP Levels and Potential Payouts

Fencing at the higher levels gives a 20 max (instead of 30 normal) to reflect the harder to get gear and the Fence having trouble moving said items without attracting attention.

Gear: No avail over 12. Some gear requests may be denied even if the avail is less. No custom gear.

Money: Money correlates with risk and/or danger factor. If you want big money without a GM right there judging the corp goons you're attacking, you must design a potential for fallout. This is not target practice. Target practice costs money.

Level 1 PRP: The MilkrunThis is the kind of run for a ganger, a wannabe shadowrunner, or someone who's just bored and wants to do something petty while scoring some quick cash to pay off a loan shark, etc. Most people who take these jobs are in a bit of a tight spot or are just getting their feet wet. Looting an unarmed trucker, for example. Pros don't take these jobs because the general rule of thumb is that if the bulk of your running gear is more than the payout, you're wasting time. However, a pro could take an interest in this if it were for a cause.
? ? ? ? ?Maximum cash: 1K per head, 5k max.
? ? ? ? ?Gear: Stuff you can fence, no weapons other than crappy clubs. Fencing
? ? ? ? ?!> 250 =Y=
? ? ? ? ?Lethality: Likely not. Might get scratched.
? ? ? ? ?Fallout: Little to none.
? ? ? ? ?Max #: 4 per month w/o possibility of triggering a crackdown.
? ? ? ? ?Approval: No approval necessary.

Level 2 PRP: Amateur League
This is the kind of run for someone who's outgrown milkruns or is possibly willing to take a gamble for something more dangerous. This is for a neophyte. You may even get shot at with real bullets, and the cops may actually take interest in this issue if there are any repeats or similarities of jobs in a short time period.
? ? ? ? ?Maximum cash: 2.5K per head, 12.5k max.
? ? ? ? ?Gear: You could get a crappy, secondhand gun from this. Fencing !> 500 =Y=
? ? ? ? ?Lethality: Potentially, but mostly for dumb mistakes and/or Little Leaguers.
? ? ? ? ?Fallout: Greater chance of triggering a crackdown.
? ? ? ? ?Max #: 2 per month w/o possibility of triggering a crackdown.
? ? ? ? ?Approval: No approval necessary.

Level 3 PRP: Smalltime Runner
So you're a runner, right? You pulled off a few Amateur jobs without a hitch. You're starting to make a name for yourself and you're wanting some better gear. You gotta pay the rent, right? Well... this is your kinda job. It's a bigger gamble, but you think you can handle it. Jobs in this range are usually that of a bigger corp picking on a smaller corp which has security, but not nearly the assets of the big corp. Gotta keep the little guys down, right? Of course, your fence may rat you out or the name you're making could make you more visible to the cops if it pops up too often now... so you may wanna think about the occasional lay-low or at least wear a disguise and not associate your name too much with your self.
? ? ? ? ?Maximum Cash: 5K per head, 25k max.
? ? ? ? ?Gear: Up to avail of 8, less restricted than L2; GM discretion. Fencing !>1000 =Y=
? ? ? ? ?Lethality: You need to watch your step here. Hospitalization/Death possible.
? ? ? ? ?Fallout: Good chance of triggering a crackdown. Much more easily linked back to your
? ? ? ? ?name and a flag goes up in LS files; they potentially have heard of you (without knowing you
? ? ? ? ?directly unless you -really- botched it.
? ? ? ? ?Max #: Once a month w/o possibility of triggering a crackdown.
? ? ? ? ?Approval: No approval necessary.

Level 4 PRP: The Big Show
Want better pay? Want to wager that your J isn't going to screw you three ways from Sunday? It could be a meat grinder or something already rather high profile. You'll probably read about it in the metro section of the screamsheets and such. Fencing here tends to be more difficult as you're dealing with higher avail sorts of items and that can be more readily tracked back to you. Laying low is definitely a good idea after this sort of assignment. Take a vacation or two... you have the funds, after all.
? ? ? ? ?Maximum Cash: 10K per head, 50k max.
? ? ? ? ?Gear: Avail 12 with GM discretion on denying varied items.
? ? ? ? ?Lethality: It could happen... either on the run or in the fallout.
? ? ? ? ?Fallout: Crackdown possible. LS interest in you a real potential. Your J could screw you.
? ? ? ? ?Max #: Once a month with some moderate heat. Any more than that and you risk some
? ? ? ? ?notoriety.
? ? ? ? ?Approval: No approval necessary.

Level 5 PRP: Kamikaze
You know it's not a good idea to take this kind of assignment, but you really need the money or you're willing to take the risk. It smells like your J is lying from the beginning but you think you've got some safeguards in place for that. It's gonna be tough, chummer... and you're already planning on disguises/vacations/alibis and potentially even an identity change. This is the sort of stuff that names are made or broken on.
? ? ? ? ?Maximum Cash: Determined between player and RPS. Should not exceed 20K per head.
? ? ? ? ?Gear: Avail 12 with fewer restrictions than level 4. RPS may be more lenient.
? ? ? ? ?Lethality: Very possible. All players agreeing to this need to accept that and understand
? ? ? ? ?how to +inflict their injuries during the run.
? ? ? ? ?Fallout: There will be heat. You're expecting it, though... right? May want to change an
? ? ? ? ?address or cover your tracks. It might also be a good idea not to do this in your own back
? ? ? ? ?yard.
? ? ? ? ?Max #: Only psychotic people do more than once a month, especially in the same area.
? ? ? ? ?That's just -asking- for it.
? ? ? ? ?Approval: You should work closely with a RPS member in designing this kind of plot to
? ? ? ? ?ensure different situations are accounted for. More detailed notes will be asked for.

Regions of sorrow, doleful shades, where peace
And rest can never dwell, hope never comes
