For the ease of Chargen creation in the beta, we should avoid creating a Traditions room, where people work out their own custom tradition.

Once the game goes plaid, then we could re-think the situation.  Make the magic room bigger, with lots more commands on it.  And have people be able to design their traditions in whatever foo-foo way they want, according to the rules of course, and then have at it!  Though that's for a later time, when we can think again on the subject.  Now, though, I just wanna play.  Anything that delays that I count as an enemy that must be crushed into fine tomato paste, turned into lasagna and be fed to Garfield.

I'd agree with that. I'm not sure if we should just do mage/shaman or add all the other traditions from the magic book, but custom traditions should be really low down on the list of things to be done.
