They use their PCs to enter into all the choice runs that they know about, can work towards getting into, and may just be friends with the other peeps so they ask (like we would on bboards if we knew about them ahead of time), "Hey, Wednesday when you run that thing, you think I could hop on with my PC?"? And the other staffer is of course friendly and nods their head in approval.? Why not?? It doesn't seem like such a big deal, and it isn't.? Its just that it can lead to something more, and that's it.?

That's why I'm not anyones friend.

Was commenting on the fact that the comments above sound incredibly paranoid...

Ahh.  Well, rest assured I am not feeling overly paranoid, and am actually somewhat relieved that staffer's will be allowed to have staff PCs.  Generally speaking, they last longer in staff that way, with that PC avenue of theirs to vent in, which means they're able to continue to devote large portions of their time, for free, to entertain me.  It's an entirely winning situation, really.

As far as NES, and the bit about Staff PCs knowing what Plots are going on, and getting involved on them: Enh.  Guess that's just a trick of the trade.  Possibly one of the benefits of working hard, for nothing but personal satisfication in something that will all but be forgotten in ages to come.

As if +sheeting people at random wasn't enough! Smiley

Oh yeah thats' another reason why I'm all for staffers having PCs. I know of a few folk who had REALLY kick ass PCs (And I mean mostly in the way of character/RP not stats). But had to dump them so they could go staff. Which really sucked.

Now we just might not see as much of them but they'll still be around.

I wasn't saying that staff knowing about plots was bad.  I was saying that it can lead to inadvertantly removing slots for players in their plots.  But, that's not a statement of fear, as much as a statement of caution.  Personally, I will be around as much as I can, but likely won't be participating in as many runs as I'd like (cause of my funky work schedule).  Thus a necessity of staff to fill holes in run groups, and the like, will be a benefit that staff having PCs can offer.
