They really are. You should check out the songs Backstabber, Girl Anachronism, and Coin Operated Boy. They make me grin. The lead singer's voice is just... Amazing. She can go from perfectly level and waifish to screaming like a banshee in a split second, and then back again.

So I was going through my music library the other day and I found a few things that might make good Shadowrun music. Not a lot of my musical tastes lend well to distopian futures, but hey.

I used to listen to the Sound Track for Children of Dune (Sci-Fi channel original release) while decking. As for sprawl music I am old school I guess, liked to have Billy Idol going, The Cult, Machines of Loving Grace, etc.

I'll have to say that I find several tracks from Serial Experiments Lain to fit well. 'Just Like a Lizard' always reminded me of a sit down.

All American Rejects I've discovered is good running music. 

And Crazy Bitch by Buck Cherry would be the perfect soundtrack to blowing someones brains out.
