It's pretty much what we have now, just a bit cut-back. I think that's the way to go. Oh, and Ghostwalker is Big D's brother.

Brother?? Then wtf was he doing in the astral rift? URGE TO KILL RISING. Sure, maybe it all makes sense if you read the book about it. But the crappy little blurb they put in the SR4 book was a total slap in the face to good story writing.
I dunno if there's been a consensus, but it seems that everyone agrees that a basic list is good, and so far nobody has objected to the freeform thing. If anyone really has the right to object, it should be the staffers in charge of approval and coding, because they're the ones who have to make it happen and work in the end. Anyone else, if they don't want to invent new skills for themselves they don't have to.

Hey. I've got no problem with a brief list. So long as its comprehensive. That actually helps player's know more then they would with a smaller list, I think. Sounds fine to me. As long as theres a way to add skills like "Detective Fiction" somewhere in there.
