I'm in Afghanistan, nice and safe.  We're working on putting together a permanent internet service here, but it's slow going with all the snow still coning through where I'm at.

Have you looked at using a laptop as a 'gateway' by sharing internet conneciton, and using a tethered satellite phone? The speed isn't fast, but it's going to be hard to lose a signal.

Looks like a fixed interweb connection is out of the question where I am at...  At least as far as connecting to you guys on a regular basis is concerned.  Damn I miss playing on Seattle.  I miss my Technomancer, I miss my Troll.  But mainly I miss you guys.
