Sure, of course.  But just as surely, it doesn't help to have a staffer come in and say "you have cheated, you cheater," when the players disagree about the subject.  Staff should of course point it out, but do they need to take sides?  Does that help the game, or just help create rifts between players?

Yawn. Cheat and be proud, those who like that play style will play with you. and others won't. That's what a self-policing community is all about. This debate stuff is circular and tiresome. We don't all have to get along, that in fact is -super- boring.

I always cheat. But then, I don't have any skin in the game. Though I think someone just said a little ways up that GMs can't cheat. Just because I originally put in 4 guards and they're now dead... doesn't mean I can't add 10 more.


Awarding your character crap though, that's boring. Die more and you'll find less and less reason to do so.
