Happy New Year!

So in order to help me help you have a better gaming experience on the Mu*, I will begin introducing thread discussions such as this one.  So I ask you, players, what specializations for Active Skills do you think would make sense to add to our lovely DB?

Post suggestions here.  This does not guarantee their successful addition to our files, but we are open to opinion. Be sure to follow the following guidelines:

1. The specialization should be general, and broadly understood by your peers
2. Nothing overtly specific or esoteric

So, while I would consider Competitive Racing as a specialization for Running, I would not consider 200 yd dash.  Stick to subgroups and not individual specializations.

Thank you

Adding new specs raises more questions than answers.  Primary among these are the First Aid specializations.  For instance:

1)  Should Magic Damage be a specialization?  If so, should that encompass Drain, or is Drain Damage separate?  If we have Magic Damage, should it encompass only direct combat spells?  Because it seems to me that, say, lightning bolt or acid spray would require the Electrical Burns or Chemical Burns specialization to heal them.

2)  Should Matrix Damage (or Biofeedback Damage) be a specialization?  If so, does that encompass damage taken by technomancers in the matrix?  Would that be Resonance Damage instead?  Or would Resonance Damage only encompass Fading?  Should Matrix Damage encompass damage that both hackers and TMs take from cybercombat, but not Fading?  Is Fading Damage too specific for a specialization, and is Matrix Damage that encompasses Fading too broad?

The only Verdict is Vengeance, a Vendetta, held as a Votive not in Vain, for the Value and Voracity of such shall one day Vindicate the Vigilant and the Virtuous.
