i see all my increments in monochrome

Wanna have a bitchin' sheet like Bubblegum or Cobalt?  Well, I'm appointing myself as twinkage help staff.  I'm not actually staff of course, but if you want advice on optimizing your sheets, drop me a PM or talk to me on the MUX.

Fair warning: I will tell you to drop "fluff" in favor of useful stuff.  IMO, fluff should not interfere with having a good sheet.  Backgrounds should be written at the same time as the sheet.  I don't think it makes sense to write the bg first, then make the sheet based on that, no matter how crappy.  The sheet is at least as important as the bg -- if you're no good for pure RP reasons, what you're doing is letting your desire to RP interfere with your team's success.  I think that's selfish.  Of course, you should have a great character that you love.  But you shouldn't let yourself think that sacrificing usefulness somehow makes you a better RPer.  It doesn't.  It just makes you a crappy shadowrunner!  I always make twinked out sheets, and I never have any complaints about my RP.  So don't worry, having a badass sheet is good, no drawbacks! OR! You can ask me!

Contrary to popular opinion Cobalt isn't as optimized as he could have been and has quite a bit of fluff and less than totally efficient design about him as well while still being quite effective in a run. I am more than willing to help people save their fluff and concept without gimping themselves in the shadowrunning community.

It's a hard thing to balance at times, I know, but just remember this isn't tabletop, stuff isn't always going to be geared for your PC's by a GM that knows your characters almost as well as you do. So remember, for the sake of the character, competency is good Smiley

This is an old post, but I just saw it after my long hiatus.

I'm at least as good as Tear at twinking, if not better, though I'm not as familiar with the most recent rules changes I can still definitely help to hone a character.

I don't really like to re-write characters like Tear would, but I will keep your fluff and make you better.  I've already done this for quite a few people, but I thought I'd make it public.

So, in essence, I'm the twinker who likes story and fluff too, and will make calls on a character to give you twinkage as well as the fluff that you want.  I won't say get rid of things, but I might re-orient you toward a focus or two.  I'm also probably slower at it than Tear since I spend less and less time around my computers (though recently been on a bit more often than before) so feel free to send character sheets my way too.

I like story and fluff...  It just has to be about kicking ass!
