Part 1, Session 1
Players: Hellborn, Niho, Tank, Juliano (lost connection early on), Mickey ( couldn't continue was busy IRL early on)

The paper trail of protest posters get thicker around the Squatters Mall, where at 1600 the barkers of low-grade tech and chemfixes are as fiesty as ever. Lenny Greenleaf's manager, T. Burnett, is a mutt-faced human barking assignments to local gangers paid to be roadies. His commlink seems to blink as word is passed on that people have come in response to 'his ad'. T. Burnett stands up and sticks a smashed , frayed and heavily chewed cigar butt between his teeth, waiting for those interested to 'step forward.

A surly looking Ork street-type emerges from a nearby burned out building and gives the entire area a scrutinizing gaze. Juliano is dressed like a squatter. He doesn't look modified, either, and at first glance looks mostly useless in a fight save for his natural size. Still, he swaggers over towards T. Burnett , left hand rubbing one of his tusks. "Ey, Breeder! You hiring? Ha ha ha!" the boisterous laughter is followed by a good natured pat on the man's shoulder. "Names J n' I got experience - If'n ya got the yen to pay for it. 'therwise, ya can frag off and so can whoever yer employer is. Ha ha ha!"

T Burnett barks. "I needs ya to be as active security for the talent, yea? P'arrently .." He looks at J and nods as he approaches , then continues. "..parently there some sorta truce 'round these parts so I needs folk like ya who are newt 'round d'ese parts... All Ya's gotta do is make sure Lenny don' get in any drek, n' if ya gotta, ya get him outta here. If ya can grab me d'en I sure as 'ell hope do too, too much drek to worry 'bout. Pay's 16 kay to split

A shout comes from within the crowd. "Outta my way, runt!" Tank says, before his hand closes over the face of a shorter metahuman, shoving him backwards and out of his way. The large ork continues to muscle his way through the crowd, making no friends on his way to Mr. Burnett. He points a thumb at himself. "Here for work. You need protection, I protect, da?"

"Active security for some meatbag named Lenny. Got it, omae." Juliano pats the Ares Predator that is strapped to his hip and takes a step backwards from T. Burnett to allow others to approach and sign up. "Better not hire too many though, breeder! The fewer ways tha' 16 is split, the better. Ha ha ha!" The Ork leans up against a nearby building and lights up, casually watching the others who arrive and make their case.

Trailing behind the orc his ever-present companion Niho trails casually through the wake of destruction, being carefull not to be stepped on, or kicked accidentally. Looking up from his below-waist point of view and in broken English, "Also make work, Quetzalcoatl make safe for everyplace."

Hellborn shuffles in slowly. A kevlar mask is pulled down over his bandaged face. Cautiously, he works his way through the area until he, with a few questions to some of the 'workers', finds the manager. Being a lot less physically imposing than some, he doesn't draw in a lot of attention (other than what one might expect from being fully bandaged and wearing a mask) until he's nearby. A gloved hand makes a virtual burning 'business card' appear, which he 'tosses' towards Mr. Burnett.

T. Burnett nods while pulling the cigar stump outta his mouth, pointing at those who've stepped to the plate. Large Ork, Man with a gun, Somebody named Quincy Cuddles, n'd a late addition with a floating business card. " Fai'r , den. I like yer style, da four a ya....ya's step up to the challange. We'll talk payment after da gig, dis is da place, so hang out a bit. " He has id cards for everyone that say "BACKSTAGE ACCESS". " If ya wanna split up the roun' the place ya can, only concern is you better get our backs chums, dun' wan our talent out fendin fer himself, scan?"

Juliano takes a sharp drag on his cigarillo and exhales a cloud of sweet smelling smoke. His finger flicks the end , sending ashes to the dirty street. "Backstage, eh? Feel like a fraggin groupie! Ha ha ha." his free hand reaches out and accepts the pass, placing it around his neck on one of those standard elastic necklaces. "All official now, yeah?" The Ork's attention is suddenly drawn by the flaming business card that is flicked on to Burnett, but he doesnt comment. After a couple of seconds, he starts looking all around - Perhaps staring off into nothingness, but a certain degree of concentration is there.

Juliano pages: Any type of matrix stuff around here that could be used by a technomancer when the drek hits the fan? If the drek hits the fan? Just want to know what we'd be dealing with here. Cameras, perhaps, anything like that?
You paged Juliano with 'Around where the stage is set up feels more comfortable than the other spots around here. There are various commlinks here, but no public nexi, though T. Burnett might work with something more sophisticated aside from equipment for sound projection'.

Tank loads the backstage code into his commlink, before nodding his head. "Yes, yes. I be ready in minute, get equipment from back." He doesn't let anyone try to stop him, the large ork trekking his way to where he stashed his gear, in order to get some of the less available pieces to the gig in the first place.

Hellborn nods to Burnett, not saying a word as he takes his ID. The card is placed in the appropriate spot, and he glances around to get a feel for the area. The man isn't very talkative.

Niho takes the pass, and tucks in around his head over his robes, chuckling as he notices how disproportionatly large it seems on his frame. Looking up at the orc's near him he sidesteps the ash falling from above. The flaming buisness card trick catches his attention, and he stares for a moment at it's sender carefully, eventually looking around at the crowd with that same intense stare.

The stage is set, fairly minimally at that. It looks like Lenny's got a drummer to work with, who the manager never said anything about. Guess that's the price some of those backup guys pay for their way in the music world. Outside the squatters mall is starting to turn into a more vivid environment. People from the S.O.U have gathered and are organizing on the western side, where just north of that gathering crowd the drug peddlars are upping their ante and trying to plan their next big push through the crowd of their merchandise. After about an hour of solid , continuing support, the S.O.U crowd start chanting and displaying their picket signs. " More Rights 4 Ork Squatters" " S.O.U " and " SQUATTERS RIGHTS FOR ALL METAS" , chanting lame repeatables like "All in the gutter need to band to getter" and other mixed cries about fairness at the mall itself. Apparently this has been a growing issue of bias, but only on the squatter/customer level. The gangers and most of the venders have had little difficulty aside from the occasional 'sales tax', but even they are reaching their limit.

The counter protest starts to build on the south side of the stage. Yes, a counter protest. It seems that there's been alot of problems with META relations, blaming Crimson Crush and other local META toughs for poisoning the area with their drugs and violence. Of course, this reaches a nice stalemate of noise, just as Lenny arrives on scene by his own bike, guitar strapped to his back. He pulls up right next to the stage and parks, observing the crowd.

Juliano flicks his cigarillo onto the ground and heads over towards the stage area upon spotting the arrival of Lenny. Judging by the flaming *CRUSH* tattoo on the Ork's arm, he's clearly not going to be sympathetic to the cause of the counter protestors. His right hand lingers near his weapon - as discretely as possbible, not wanting to alarm anyone or incite chaos. Cold eyes scan from left to right, lingering on various areas around the stage. He seems relaxed and calm even with these rather chaotic conditions.

Lenny looks at those who are near the stage wearing the backstage passes and nods to himself a bit, hopping off his bike. Not too shabby of a yamaha growler, at that. The musician stands and leans on his bike as he digs for a nicstick, lights it, and sorta stares off on his own too.

Tank isn't hiding what he's there for. He's got his Remington 950 in one hand, propped up against his shoulder. He's still backstage, not yet stepping out into view of the public just yet.
Niho takes up watch from near the stage, positioning himself behind a few overflowing garbage cans, in an area adjacent to the crowd, while being devoid of people to block his vision of the crowd. He rubs his hands together casually, and mumbles a few words to himself while scanning the audience again.

<OOC> Osprey says, "Oh and do me a favor, for the logs sake. Make an +ooc statement of what your rolling before the roll, it'll save me time Cheesy"
<OOC> Niho says, "Sure, rolling my Magic + Assensing right?"
<OOC> Osprey says, "Intuition + Assensing"
<OOC> Niho says, "Ok, 3+4, rolling 7 dice for assensing"
GAME: Niho rolls 7 dice: 1 2 3 3 4 5 5 (2 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

You paged Niho with 'you have a strong feeling that there are magical presences at this gathering. Near you, it seems that hellborn ebbs with magical aura, and it seems like there might be a flicker coming from Lenny as well. Other hints come from further out, but it could be any of the gangers or protesters gathered, too tough to tell'.

Hellborn stands behind the stage watching things set up.

The stage is completely set up, and the ganger roadies have gone back to mingling amongst the other crowds gathered in watching the dueling protests. Vendors on the north east side, the drug dealers still on the north west side. The stage is closer to these groups than the western and southern crowds arguing about who deserves to really call the shots , to an extent, at the mall. Tensions are flaring but things aren't reckless, it seems to be mostly a gathering of spirit. One of the S.O.U folk is approaching Lenny, who's still off to the side of the stage closer to Niho, finishing his smoke. T. Burnett has walked away for now, attending to payment biz most likely.

Mickey uses his vision magnification to scan the crowd and the stage. Not liking what he sees, he convinces most of the Devil Rats in blue leather jackets to abandon the anti-meta counter-protest. The shaven-bald breeders in blue leave the South side of the stage and move further away from the crowd.

Tank keeps his guard up, watching the crowd from backstage. He keeps his rifle in hand, not yet stepping out onto the stage. When the man starts to approach Lenny, though, Tank is moving immediately to intercept the man.

Niho watches intently, looking for anyone else in the crowd that seems aware of the person approaching Lenny. Seeing Tank step to intercept the individual, he tenses up, preparing for the worst and hoping for the best.

Hellborn looks around the makeshift group. He starts to set up his comm frequency when he notices Tank departing. After a quick glance to see what's going on, he follows Tank on his way to Lenny.

The S.O.U member, a younger ork with wire-rim spectacles, pauses to adjust them on his nose as he peers at Tank and his weapon.....letting out a loud gulp. He speaks... " Hello Brother, just comin' to announce why we're 'ere and thankin Lenny there on makin it. " The ork looks at Hellborn also, getting a little nervous. He clears his throat to prevent stammering and continues. " I'm gonna make the announcement now, so just tell him he's gotta go on stage in the next ten minutes...

Tank grunts and points a thumb at Lenny. "Tell him yourself, kid. I do security, not messages. Got my eye on you, no funny business, or I send you back to your parents in a cardboard box, da?" He takes a step to the side, giving the wire-rim kid a glare as he waits for him to go by.

The ork kid nods and goes to chat with lenny, who seems alot less nervous when he gets to talk to the musician. They laugh a little and Lenny nods, waving the kid off, who rushes past Tank with a quick 'thankyou' before heading back to his protest group. Lenny approaches tank , now. " Hey.... so how are you guys gonna watch this place? I don't know if anything will really happen, T's always overworried...Just make sure nobody throws anything at me, I hate that drek, if I get some garbage thrown by one of those Humanist punks It'll ruin the performance...."

Hellborn shakes his head slightly, but doesn't comment. He just grabs a comm frequency, and 'hands' it to Tank in AR. The eyes, of course, are following the S.O.U. member.

<OOC> Niho says, "I'm probably not in earshot, but theres a chance my earbuds picked that up, could I shake it?"
<OOC> Osprey says, "Thats fine"
<OOC> Niho says, "Rolling Perception+Int+Gear bonus to catch his concern."
GAME: Niho rolls 9 dice: 1 1 2 2 3 3 4 4 6 (1 Hit) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

You paged Niho with 'you heard make sure and throw, but thats mostly it... not too great of a roll there =P'.
Niho pages: I should have bought 2 /facepalm. Thanks : )
You paged Niho with 'hehe issok, you can always await orders from your other group members'.
Niho pages: I speak English at a one, that's about the best I'd get anyway

<OOC> Osprey says, "So let's look at what's gonna happen. Lenny is about to go on stage, you guys are gonna set up how? as before?"

Tank shrugs his shoulders. "Not many of us. No guarantee about garbage. Will see if we can do something, da?" He sends the request to Niho over the commlink, knowing he might be able to do something about it. He looks at Hellborn. "Name is Tank. Who are you, you good for anything, or just meat shield for garbage?"

<OOC> Tank says, "Oh no, Tank is gonna be visible. He's the message that there isn't just security, but they're packing heat."
<OOC> Niho says, "From my position I'm aiming to have a good view of the crowd, and the stage. Most of the things I'll need to do just require good Line of Sight."
<OOC> Hellborn says, "I'm thinking that we're going to need a game plan. Probably a strategy for getting Lenny out of there when things start hitting the fan."
<OOC> Tank says, "Mmhmm. Usually straight out the back is a good way to do it, since we've got the crowd in front of us, going through them would be tough."
<OOC> Tank says, "Should pull it like any other concert. Pull him backstage into a car and go."
<OOC> Osprey says, "Any of you guys have transport? Lenny has his bike, which is near the stage, but T Burnett's ride is parked elsewhere"
<OOC> Tank says, "Nope, Tank is on foot."
<OOC> Hellborn spent his money on his commlink. Wink
<OOC> Niho says, "Niho can't reach the pedals =P I'm a big supporter of Bi-pedal manual transportation"
<OOC> Osprey says, "Anyone good with a yamaha growler? heh"
<OOC> Tank can drive.
<OOC> Hellborn says, "How are they getting stuff around the show? They have to have some sort of transport."
<OOC> Osprey says, "Its not far off, its by one of the exits, they had the gangers move the stuff from there"

The area has two larger exits, a southwest exit to the highways outta this section of the 'rens and an eastern exit that was the main gate of the old mall, leading to the body mall entrance not far off. The stage itself is directly in the middle, but closer to the northern end of the terrain. The crowds are gather southwest and south of the stage itself, completely blocking off the southwest exit. The fencing on the north side is pretty worn out and the debris behind it might have a path or two to offer if need be outta here. Gangers, specifically crimson crush near the S.O.U and Halloweeners near the counter protest are standing around watching as the crowds hear word of the show about to start. The eastern exit is where T. Burnetts convoy is parked and has a few random gangers and squatters not involved in the protests cluttering up the exit, but not nearly as bad as the southwest area.

Hellborn shakes his head at Tank, then uses his subvocal mike to tell him, "No ... magic ... support." The man's eyes follow Lenny, extending his magical support around him before moving back towards the others. He starts handing out the comm frequency to the others.

Hellborn hands the comm sig to Niho, and then begins talking to the man in English. Fortunately, it's over the comm. "You ... magic ... type?" he asks in his broken, forced way, "Not ... look ... like Sam."

Lenny steps on stage , plugging his guitar into the amplification setup by his 'crew', and adjusting his commlink to apparently subscribe to whatever is controlling his hardware. His sweet and misplaced acoustic blues guitar sends emotions of a texture foreign, yet comforting to the inhabitants of the squatters mall, even if just for a second. The numbers who've come out for this even are quite surprising.

Niho responds to the breathtakingly easy to translate question with some ... unfortunate English. "Magic yes, make magic."

<OOC> Osprey says, "WE're just gonna assume lenny's really pouring his heart out. " It's alright, this is now the moment I request perception rolls, I have an idea where everyone is to an extent so youmight see different things"
<OOC> Niho says, "Ok, my roll is 2+4, will I receive the +3 from enhanced vision and audio?"
<OOC> Osprey says, "You're too close to the stage, the music isn't gonna help your audio."
<OOC> Niho says, "Visual then?"

<OOC> Osprey says, "Pose what general area you're looking at, then roll and i'll page details to each of you"
<OOC> Osprey says, "Then something will happen soon maybe Cheesy"
<OOC> Hellborn says, "This is why sound filters are good. Tune out the music. Wink"
<OOC> Hellborn is watching the stage, the crowd near Lenny, and Lenny (of course). He should be summoning a spirit right about now.

Niho scans through the crowd again, looking in particular at the anti-meta protest groups for anyone who might have a weapon, or might be looking at an odd place, like a roof-top or window of a nearby building.
<OOC> Tank rolls his perception. No special modifiers, int+per for 6.
GAME: To (Tank, Osprey) Tank rolls 6 dice: 1 3 3 4 6 6 (2 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

Hellborn keeps his attention on Lenny, extending his magical protection to him, while watching those who might get too close to Lenny.

Tank is watching over the crowd from his spot on stage, on the west side. He's there to hold off the crowd as best he can. Just a few moments would be enough to get Lenny out if need be.

<OOC> Hellborn makes his perception roll, "Only low-light and thermal. Int 4 + Per 2 so 6."
GAME: To (Hellborn, Osprey) Hellborn rolls 6 dice: 2 5 5 6 6 6 (5 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

You paged Tank with 'You notice that there are a group of Crimson Crush Members who are gathered near the S.O.U protest and they seem to be interested in something, as they occasionally glance at the other protest and jab a thumb in their direction.'.

You paged Hellborn with 'excellent roll. You notice theres a crowd of both protest groups heading towards the stage, looks like just to listen. They hang back from the set up perimeter, especially where tank is standing, and not posing any threats. There are, however, a group of people who seem to be meeting in one spot...each from a different part of the crowd but all wearing the same expression about them.'.

Hellborn pages: What do you mean by expression?
You paged Hellborn with 'same sort of panicked look in their face, and their standing together and staring at Lenny. its very odd'

<OOC> Niho says, "Ok, I'm rolling 9 dice for a visual perception of the crowd I described in my pose Tongue"
GAME: Niho rolls 9 dice: 2 3 3 3 4 4 4 5 6 (2 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

You paged Niho with 'you notice there are some rougher types who seem to be part of a local gang, sporting some hand razors and some clubs, they seem to be eyeing somebody up but its not in the direction of lenny'.

<OOC> Tank says, "Don't think it matters if you do them privately or not, at least for rolls we're all involved in."
<OOC> Niho says, "I sort of came to that conclusion"
<OOC> Tank says, "Yeah lol"
<OOC> Hellborn says, "I only made mine private cause I thought that's what we were doing. Heh."
<OOC> Tank did, too, just cuz.
<OOC> Osprey says, "It's on the roller, either way we get it for the log, if you want it to be a mystery then roll private"

Niho highlights the individuals sporting Hand-razors and clubs in the crowd over AR, and broadcasts it via the groups security frequency. "Could be make trouble." Comes over the commlink's mic as it loads.

Hellborn makes a quick 'drawing' with his AR gloves, making an ARO that points towards one part of the crowd. He sends this over the comms with the comment, "What ... with ... these guys?"

Tank makes sure to notify the rest of the team over their comm about the group of Crimson Crush members motioning towards the S.O.U. protesters that they're gathering closer to.
<OOC> Tank corrects his pose. The Crush members are motioning towards the anti-meta protesters, not the S.O.U.

Over the comms, Hellborn says, "We ... have ... spririt ... backup?"

Tank repeats it in Russian for Niho, making sure that he's got the question right. Tank keeps his eyes on the crowd, making sure that no one gets too close to the stage. Over the comms, he says, "Listen. I give no drek for crowd. Tear eachother to peices, for all I care. Lenny is target, is only concern. We paid for him. We paid by manager, get him out, too. If crowd get rough, get Lenny out, let rest of world burn, da?"

Niho hesitates, and responds over the link, "Yes, I agree. The crowd's not our problem until it becomes a riot. If it riots, we grab Lenny and the manager and dip out, drek with anyone else.

Lenny continues his performance, the drummer never showing up but the artist doesn't care. He takes a second to break a beer bottle left over by one of the gangers and slides the broken neck through his finger, showing off how 'they did it in the old days' and playin a wailin' slide, really captivating some of the bigger fans. MOst of the crowds attention has pulled from the protest itself and is solely focused on the show.

You paged Hellborn with 'you still see those guys , standing and staring...they've moved to the closest edge of the crowd, not even taking a glance at Tank... can't see you though, either, just Lenny'.

Tank is keeping his focus on the protests, through, along with the line of the stage. Anyone who manages to get up on stage is going to meet Tank, not Lenny. For now, though, he keeps off to the side, not getting in the way of the show, but providing an intimidating air to the stage any anyone thinking about doing something stupid.

Niho pans astrally across the crowd astrally again, looking at the potential issue in the crowd carefully before sending another message to tank via translate, "If someone starts shooting I'm going to hide Lenny first, then provide an extra layer of bullet protection for you if neccessary."

Hellborn repoints out the group he pointed out before over comm. "I can ... throw ... some protection, too. Can ... you ... assense ... these guys?"

You paged Niho with 'a section in the front crowd has a strange aura about them, a steady and nauseating blue....4 of them share this trait and are at the front of the stage, must be the ones hellborn is talking about'.

<OOC> Niho says, "Assensing the crowd hellborn pointed out, Rolling Int+Assens of 7 dice total."
GAME: Niho rolls 7 dice: 1 2 3 4 4 6 6 (2 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

Niho speaks again over the comms, this time in broken english. "four men in front, give bad impres... bad thing." He creates an ARO directing everyone to the 4 people he's talking about, and begins to motion subtley with his hands, muttering under his breath.

<OOC> Niho says, "Yeah, you're right. Ok, so I'm at a -2 for translate, casting armor with 6 dice total on Lenny."
GAME: To (Niho, Osprey) Niho rolls 6 dice: 3 3 3 5 6 6 (3 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

Niho pages: Next roll is Willpower+Charisma+focused Con II for 13 dice.
GAME: To (Niho, Osprey) Niho rolls 13 dice: 1 3 3 4 5 5 5 5 6 6 6 6 6 (9 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

You paged Hellborn with 'niho is referring to your folk , you guys seem to be agreeing on something in this crowd at least'.

Niho speaks a few key words, and gestures a hand flat out in front of himself, concentrating hard as he wills a faint, shimmering white light to pulse dimly around Lenny's body, in time with a heartbeat.

The crowd ooos as lenny sings and seems to shimmer before them. "Wizzer effects! Mojo or somethin else?" mutters some louder fan. It seems that some shouting can be heard on the far end of the crowd near the southwest exit, furthest from the stage.

<OOC> Osprey says, "Last perception rolls when ready"
GAME: Hellborn rolls 6 dice: 1 2 2 3 4 4 (0 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
<OOC> Niho says, "9 dice for visual, again"
GAME: Niho rolls 9 dice: 3 3 3 3 3 4 5 5 5 (3 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
<OOC> Tank says, "Six dice again."
GAME: Tank rolls 6 dice: 2 4 4 5 5 6 (3 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

You paged Niho and Tank with 'You're linked magically to communicate, and you are both looking in the same general direction.. That group of men whom niho was warning about is fidgeting. One of them is trying to light something, looks like a liqour bottle with a rag in it....'.
<OOC> Niho says, "I'm focusing it on lenny first and formost, only assisting the others if they're in direct LOS."
(To: Niho and Osprey) Tank pages: If he throws it, I'm gonna try to shoot it in the air before its over the stage, lol.
(To: Niho and Osprey) Tank pages: Nothing worse than having a molotov backfire on ya.
p niho tank= oh ok, i like that, you have a single shot option on your weap? you wanna risk it?
You paged Niho and Tank with 'oh ok, i like that, you have a single shot option on your weap? you wanna risk it?'.
(To: Niho and Osprey) Tank pages: I'm pretty sure the Remington 950 is SA.
(To: Osprey and Tank) Niho pages: I'm asking my spirit to use the accident power on him.
(To: Niho and Osprey) Tank pages: Oh, even better.
(To: Niho and Osprey) Tank pages: That way I don't have to waste ammo.
(To: Niho and Osprey) Tank pages: It -is- a fire spirit, after all, hahahah.
p hrmm good point... that's one service, yes?
You paged Niho and Tank with 'hrmm good point... that's one service, yes?'.
(To: Niho and Osprey) From afar, Tank nods, it would be.
(To: Osprey and Tank) Niho pages: Yes, one of two
(To: Osprey and Tank) Niho pages: continual power use, is one service. so accidenting that guy over and over is more accurate
You paged Niho and Tank with 'Alright, tank you pose over the comm and niho, please communicate with your spirit.. you want him to keep failing? if he drops it it'll be a hot mess on his feet from the start'.
You paged Niho with 'we'll roll the test after the pose, and ill post the result'.
(To: Niho and Osprey) Tank pages: Well, it could drop and break, start burning in the crowd, or just explode in his hand or something. Hahaha.
Niho pages: If he drops it at his feet, and keeps accidenting, not my problem omae Smiley How do you want me to handle communicating with the spirit?

Niho laughs at the obvious ill-advised attack, and focuses for a moment, posing a request to the wise and powerfull spirit of quetzalcoatl, before turning back to oversee the spirits efforts and make certain nothing is thrown at Lenny.

<OOC> Osprey says, "Rolling for Fire Spirit for Accident test, MAgic (5) + Willpower (5) vs Target Reaction (4) + Intuition (3). Niho you can roll the 10 I'll roll the 7"
<OOC> Niho says, "ok"
GAME: Niho rolls 10 dice: 1 1 1 2 2 2 4 6 6 6 (3 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
GAME: Osprey rolls 7 dice: 1 2 2 2 2 3 6 (1 Hit) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

Tank peers over the crowd, growling as he spots someone trying to light a bottle. In english he says, "Danger up front, man with fire." He highlights it on the AR. When he sees Niho taking action, the ork chuckles softly. "Looks like Niho has it, da?"

Some members of the crowd in front of the stage start to panic and shuffle, exposing a man lighting a molotov cocktail. his face still shows the same expression, but it turns to worry as he realizes his arm has caught fire from the liqour soaked rag! If only he had been more careful! Tha man franttically shakes out his arm, flinging the lit molotov in front of the stage instead of onto it, and desperately tries to get the fire out. Surprisingly, the other 3 members are devoid of noticing and still stare at lenny... other members of the crowd have left the strange men by themselves. Man on fire is still frantic, and the flames in front of the stage might be an issue if left unattended...

Lenny notices and steps back, trying not to miss a note in his performance. He looks like he's gonna wrap things up quickly at this rate, and starts to look around while he sings...

Niho nods at Lenny, with his best look of assurance. "Tank, I can't do much about the fire from here, might want to keep an eye on the other three once they realize the attack is failing."

<OOC> Hellborn says, "How big is the fire? And are the others attempting something similar?"
You paged Hellborn with 'its burning on the ground in front of the stage, but the stage hasnt caught yet. I'm about to pose what they're gonna do'.

Tank chuckles. "Can not put out fire with bullets," he says in english, "Might need to take bigger action."

<OOC> Hellborn says, "magic 4 + spellcasting 4 + manipulation spec 2 + mentor spirit 2 for a total of 12 dice. BTW, how big is the fire 'force wise'?"

Hellborn focuses his energy in the mana. On the astral, his inner fire burns brighter as it seeks a connection with the flames in the audience. The spell feeds itself into the flames ... and suddenly the flames start picking themselves up off of the ground. They are now floating into mid air! The flames form into a little man, who proceeds to scold the man with his 'finger'.

Tank chuckles as he watches the fire-man scold the guy on fire. The big ork grins, resting his rifle on his should as he goes back to watching the crowd, keeping an eye out for any other trouble that might be going on.

The crowd that isn't leaving finds that to be very entertaining, and the men in front start to 'snap out of it, standing there, now, befuddled. The man on fire finally puts his out and they start to discuss amongst themselves...... Further southwest, its clear that two sets of three gangers are in an all out brawl, so the crowd is shifting away from the squatters mall from multiple sides. Lenny is wrapping up a song and announces he's gonna take a break soon, then puts his guitar down to light a smoke, nervously watching the southwest. He steps offstage and demands where T. Burnett is, who's nowhere to be found. The men who have come back to their senses seem to have a direct purpose, and begin sweeping south and east, through the moving crowd. They are following to the exit, but appear to be looking for somebody

Niho stops laughing, and thinks hard for a moment after taking it all in. "Now might be a good time to ask lenny how well he knows T. Burnett. Something feels very very wrong here, and I don't like the looks of this. Get ready to move fast if what I think is going on is true." comes from everyones commlink as Niho starts rapidly speaking in portugese. Almost as an afterthought, in broken English, "Something not make right smell, get ready make go."

Theres a stillness in the air, and from the east growls are being heard. The men who were acting odd have confronted some Crimson Crush gangers on that side, specifically a one tusked rasrafari ork, who is surrounded by 4 other gangers. They are arguing, and the dreadlocked ork is just laughing. Crush gangers surround the human folk, and reach up close... theres a flash of steel....

Hellborn manipulates the energy in his spell, crushing out the fire into a puff of harmless smoke. Playing with fire in front of a master of flame manipulation is a foolish thing to do, it would seem. The flames, and the spell, now gone the bandaged man moves to join up with Niho (and Tank, if he's near). "Agreed," he replies to Niho, "Who ... are those ... guys? Besides ... trouble."

Tank grumbles to himself as he walks over to the edge of the stage, nearest the group surrounding the ork, and fires a round into the air to get attention. Then, he aims the smoking barrel at the group. "Break it up, or I break you up!" In Russian, over the translate spell, he says, "Niho, find Lenny, get him ready to get out of here." In English, over comms, he says, "Da. Definitely trouble, get ready." All the while he keeps his rifle aimed steadily at the brawling metahumans. Hopefully they've stopped and he doesn't have to shoot one of them.

.....the men are stabbed in their throats. The rastafari ork turns towards the exit and the crush gangers, with a wild look in their eye, are trotting towards the stage, laughing ot themselves and eyes seem to be on you guys....Firebombs like the men had in front of the stage start to fly..... Halloweener re-inforcements have shown up in the southwest and are pushing the other crush gangers towards the stage in that direction. Seems like the two groups of Crimson Crush Gangers are acting on different motives, though... one group fleeing and one charging....

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
<OOC> Osprey says, "Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd"
<OOC> Tank says, "I'm firing."
<OOC> Osprey says, "Freeze!"
<OOC> Hellborn does flames, not ice. Wink
<OOC> Tank should've brought a frag grenade.
<OOC> Osprey says, "So here's the situation, which has taken probably too long to build to.
Halloweeners are now pushing Crimson Crush Gangers towards the stage area from teh southwest. The crowds who were just protesting are beginning to FLEE now and not just leave the concert. From the east, the 4 charging Crimson Crush Gangers with knives are coming atcha, but don't seem to be working with the ones who were in the brawl and are retreating. You guys are in the middle."

<OOC> Hellborn brought a flash-bang grenade. Wink
<OOC> Tank says, "Haha. I should sling my rifle over my shoulder and pull out the claymore, see what those gangers think of that one."
<OOC> Tank is, by the way, on the east, where the guys were stabbed, no.
<OOC> Tank says, "*now"
<OOC> Hellborn says, "Wait ... the crush are charging us? I thought they were charging the halloweeners?"
<OOC> Niho says, "I'm positive those 4 aren't really crush."
<OOC> Tank says, "The halloweeners are charging the crush ont he west, the four ont he east are charging us."
<OOC> Hellborn prefers Sunkist, anyways. Wink
<OOC> Tank says, "Either way, they have to deal with me, and it ain't gonna be pretty for them."
<OOC> Osprey says, "Yes, im sorry if im still not being concise enough"
<OOC> Niho says, "It's just a big picture, you're doing a great job man"
<OOC> Tank says, "Yeah, big picture is fine, we'll get more details as we need 'em."
<OOC> Hellborn says, "That's what questions are for. Smiley Carry on."
<OOC> Tank also loves that he gets 7 boxes of damage before he takes a +1. XD
<OOC> Niho says, "Ok, well can I see Lenny from my spot? I'm not sure I'd be able to see backstage from my vanatage point, but I could definitely see the 4 guys running at us with knives."
<OOC> Hellborn says, "Can we see Lenny?"

<OOC> Osprey says, "hehe alrighty, we're comin along pretty nicely. I'd say you guys have a round before the crush from the east reach you, and two rounds before the crush from the southwest reach you, and 5 rounds before the halloweeners swarm the place. Correct niho, i believe hellborn is the only one close enough to lenny... unless J pops on right now"
<OOC> Tank says, "Yeah, someone has to get Lenny outta here. Our exit is to the south-east, isn't it?"
<OOC> Osprey says, "Due east, almost through the charging orks"
<OOC> Tank says, "Right, we'll go through the charging orks, then."
<OOC> Niho says, "I'm going to expend my last spirit's service, and ask him to kill them. The east is our best exit."
<OOC> Osprey says, "Hold on, what power/spell is he going to use?"
<OOC> Tank says, "Man, I wish I was Locust right now, so I could say something cool like 'I eat metahumans for breakfast'. Hah."
<OOC> Niho says, "No power or spell, I'm asking him to manifest and kill them with his 'hands'"
<OOC> Hellborn is going to go attempt to grab Lenny, and lead him towards safety.
<OOC> Tank says, "It means we have a manifested spirit in in initiative, as well."
<OOC> Osprey says, "alright, this round is free pose , next round starts inits. yep"
<OOC> Tank will shoot orks.
<OOC> Tank is going to shoot one of the charging orks.
<OOC> Hellborn says, "Actually, he's just giving the spirit a command. It'll use any power or attack it deems necessary to carry out that command."
<OOC> Niho says, "Yeah that's true"
<OOC> Tank says, "Or should I just let the spirit deal with them, and get on protecting us from the west?"
<OOC> Osprey says, "Hrmm keep talking it out before we start, whats the plan?"
<OOC> Niho says, "I'm just asking it to ensure those 4 die. How it chooses to go about that, is entirely it's buisness"
<OOC> Hellborn says, "You can always hold your action, see how the spirit does, and then clean house. I think we have enough baddies. Wink"
<OOC> Niho says, "I'm going to do my one pre-iniative pose here I think"
<OOC> Tank says, "Nah, I'm not about cleaning house, I'm about staying alive."
<OOC> Tank says, "There's a difference between enough and too many, even Tank can get overwhelmed."
<OOC> Hellborn says, "Where is our 'escape vehicle'?"
<OOC> Tank says, "To the east, past the orks that are about to become burn victims."
<OOC> Osprey says, "Well the bike is right near teh stage, that's lennys ride here. Apparently T. Burnett has a vehicle to the east but he's nowhere to be found"
<OOC> Tank says, "Which is also the direction opposite the horde of angry metahumans, and the halloweeners pushing them towards the stage."
<OOC> Tank says, "So, you guys go east, Tank will go west and hold off as much as he can before bringing up the rear."
<OOC> Osprey says, "and you have the spirit dealing with the 4 gangers charging from the east?"
<OOC> Tank says, "Just give me cover and I'll be fine long enough that all of us should get out okay."
<OOC> Tank says, "He should, yeah."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Niho shakes his head, and resolves to do something very unpleasant. Asking the spirit to destroy the 4 beings charging in Niho's direction with weapons(The 4 crush from the east) before speaking into the Comm's, "Tank, I have to drop translate now. We'll figure it out after the carnage. Lets get lenny the hell out of here."

<OOC> Niho says, "I'm dropping translate, and turning my attention of the 4 crush in the way of our job."
<OOC> Hellborn Is heading after Lenny, "Is he hard to find? Do I have to roll anything? Or can I find him in my one pose?"

Tank nods his head, turning and facing the west. "Da, good idea comrade." He lifts his rifle, aiming it for any living thing that's coming in his direction with a weapon drawn. First one he sees in his crosshair, he pulls the trigger.

<OOC> Osprey says, "You're near him, he's just backstage"
<OOC> Osprey says, "Sport rifle? ah got it, its in arsenal"
<OOC> Niho says, "brb"
<OOC> Tank says, "Yeah. Its 8P, -1 AP, SS(its the 990 that's SA), no RC(but I get -1 because of my STR), and 5(m) for ammo."
<OOC> Osprey says, "Well its definately in that rifles short range, +2 for smartlink, only about 2000 hours maybe theres still partial light so -2 for normal vision"

Hellborn turns and bolts backstage after Lenny. He grabs him by the elbow, "Evacuate ... NOW!!!" He motions towards the prearranged direction. "What if ... vehicle ... sabataged? Got ... backup?"

<OOC> Tank says, "Right. So I'm rolling... 11 dice. 8+2(smartlink)+1(aim)."
<OOC> Tank says, "And, side-note, 3 shots left before reload."
GAME: Tank rolls 11 dice: 1 2 2 3 3 4 4 4 5 5 5 (3 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

GAME: Osprey rolls 4 dice: 2 3 4 6 (1 Hit) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

Tank pulls the trigger on his rifle. Boom! The gunshot echos in the chaos, the barrel barely kicking back as the bullet is flung from it like a ho from her pimp's Cadillac. The bullet strikes him in the shoulder, digging in deep to the bone and making itself a nice home there with a yard and a guest house. The punk is flung backwards, right onto his ass, to lay there groaning in a pool of blood or start running for the -other- exit. Tank hopes the other gangers got the message, as he cocks his rifle and prepares to take another shot.

The elemental cracks into existence right as the charging, mad-eyed CrimCrush members have gotten within threatening distance to lenny and co. Hellborn is quick to act in his roll, utilizing Niho's move to lead their mark to safety. One of the orks is keeping their eye on Lenny and HEllborn however as they begin to step beyond his reach. The whimpering ganger Tank befriended via long distance relationship is crawling away as the yells of the building mass of Halloweeners begins to enevelop his blood-marred tracks...

<OOC> Osprey says, "Gotcha, you'll spend your turn distancing yourself then and heading ahead of the pack with lenny. Fire Elemental is attacking one of the gangers with unarmed attack"

<OOC> Hellborn says, "It would be 3 +4 or 7P base damage."
<OOC> Hellborn says, "It has energy aura which adds +4 modifier to damage."

The fire creature swings its arms at the lead ork coming in from the east, embers flickering in the growing night sky as it connects across the poor gangers shoulder, the smell of fire on flesh as the ork growls and steps back, his chums hesitant as the searing heat of the fire spirit looming above them, between the gangers and the stage.

<OOC> Tank says, "But anyway, lessee... I'm gonna run and shoot. Rolling 8 dice. Gonna try for one of the halloweeners this time, they're more dangerous than the other punks."

<OOC> Osprey says, "thats a medium distance for you, and there is a group of 6 there, vs the 3 (1 wounded) crimson crush at short distance for you"
<OOC> Osprey says, "And you're running towards the east right?"

Tank chuckles as he catches a glimpse of the fire spirit out of the corner of his eye. He shuffles backwards a few meters, at the same time lifting his rifle to stare down the barrel again. He pulls the trigger, popping off another shot on a Halloweener, proving he doesn't discriminate when it comes to killing people. The bullet rips through his shoulder, as well, not killing the ganger, but rendering him practically useless to the rest of his buddies. "I think it is time we go, da comrades?"

<OOC> Niho says, "Ok, so I'm more worried about putting together another spirit. The other one is no longer bound to me, and I'm not sure we're out of the woods yet. Rolling Magic(5) + Summoning(3) = 8 Dice."

Niho stands and begins chanting in Portugese, calling out to another great and wise spirit of the mighty Quetzalcoatl, crying out for aid in loud tones until eventually there is a stillness, and Niho stops his pleas.

<OOC> Osprey says, "Appreciate it, then ganger 1 at (7) is going"

Ganger 1 growls and attacks the fire spirit out of confusion and anger with his knife as hesteps over the scorched comrade of his.

<OOC> Osprey says, "Blades (3) + Agility (1) = 4"
GAME: Osprey rolls 4 dice: 1 3 3 4 (0 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

The ganger misses and is starting to looka little scared. His chums are frozen and step back, though the next one....

<OOC> Osprey says, "Ganger 2 at (6)"

Ganger 2 runs after Hellborn and lenny, trying to get away from the elemental and catch up to the mark.

<OOC> Osprey says, "Ganger 3 (4)"

Ganger 3 is the last of the uninjured gangers and he decides to stab at athe spirit as well. These guys arent too bright..

<OOC> Osprey has to look away from the comp for a sec, maybe stretch, brb 1 sec. "WE'll continue with the scorched ganger in just a sec

<OOC> Osprey says, "Ganger 4 (4)"

Ganger 4 seems to lack the insane look in his chummers eyes as he winces with his injury. He turns to flee to the south and is whimpering while he leaves his three other gangers, more focused and without the trouble he's recieved, still stay and fight the fire spirit in vain attempt to catch Lenny.

<OOC> Hellborn will toss a stun bolt at him from where he's standing, "I'm thinking force 7 should do it."
<OOC> Hellborn says, "That's ganger 2? The one coming after Lenny/me? Magic + spellcasting so 8 dice."

<OOC> Osprey says, "Just the Body (4)"

GAME: Osprey rolls 4 dice: 1 1 4 6 (1 Hit)  GLITCH!!! <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
<OOC> Hellborn says, "SNAP!!!"

p hellborn= maybe your stunbolt knocks teh ganger back into one of his buddies?
You paged Hellborn with 'maybe your stunbolt knocks teh ganger back into one of his buddies?'.
You paged Hellborn with 'we'll do ganger 2 colliding with ganger 3 and knocking ganger 3 down, you can pose it if you'd like to include it with your spell pose'.

Hellborn spots the ganger running after himself and Lenny. Immediately, he begins channeling in the mana, which wraps around him like a firey volcano on the astral. On the physical you can see the muscles tense as he channels the obvious magic before reaching out as he tosses the spell. There is a twitch of disappointment as the spell leaves his body, as if he didn't like his spellwork. However, the spell does the trick as the ganger (#2) doubles up in pain, then suddenly he spasms backwards tumbling straight into his buddy (#3), knocking them both over into a mess of arms and legs. Hellborn blinks in surprise, "Better ... than ... think..."

<OOC> Osprey says, "Ok Init Pass 2 , FIre Spirit and Tank... anyone else? lol"

<OOC> Osprey says, "FIre spirit attempts to engulf ganger 1"

GAME: Osprey rolls 12 dice: 1 1 1 1 3 3 4 4 5 5 6 6 (4 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

GAME: Osprey rolls 5 dice: 1 2 2 5 6 (2 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

The fire spirit lunges forward and wrapsboth its arms around Ganger 1, pulling it into it's hearthy core.... The Crimson Crush ganger is screaming as it happens, quite horrifying.

<OOC> Tank says, "still running, 8 dice. I get another pass after this, too, so should I just take two shots? XD"
GAME: Tank rolls 8 dice: 1 1 1 2 3 3 5 6 (2 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

<OOC> Tank says, "10P to him."
GAME: Tank rolls 8 dice: 1 1 2 2 3 4 5 6 (2 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

GAME: Osprey rolls 4 dice: 1 1 6 6 (2 Hits)  GLITCH!!! <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
<OOC> Osprey says, "the glitced 4 is the soak/body for the first shot"

GAME: Osprey rolls 2 dice: 1 2 (0 Hits)  CRITICAL GLITCH!!! <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

<OOC> Tank says, "Also, side-note, I need to reload at the start of the next initiative."

<OOC> Osprey says, "So lets see now, you have the following options. 2 fleeing crimson crush gangers, a really wounded further and on the ground , or 5 halloweeners a little further away than that and all moving ahead"
<OOC> Tank says, "Imma pop two of the halloweeners."

Tank pages: Anything special for the glitches, or should I just off the two of 'em?
You paged Tank with 'yea they're fragged, especially the second one. The first one you can leave twitching a bit if you want but guy #2 is gotta hurt... heh'.
From afar, Tank has something awesome if he can kill the second one and wound another guy instead. XD
You paged Tank with 'what like a guy behind him? hrmm... its a magic bullet, i think only if you had a critical hit and he glitched could you do that'.
Tank pages: Well, he critical glitched, I was thinking it hit him someplace vulnerable with little resistance, like his neck. No big deal, though, Imma pose. XD

Tank keeps moving backwards, ignoring the heat from the fire spirit beating the crap out of the gangers nearby. He lifts his rifle again, firing off another shot. His hand moves like lightning to cock it for another shot, and before the first bullet hits its target, he's already set to shoot again. When the first bullet hits, it digs deep into the gut of a halloweener - from behind. The bullet rips out of his front, and he's left screaming on the ground, and clutching for his guts as they try to spill out of him. The target of his second shot sees it coming, though. In a panicked attempt to flee, he stumbles backwards into one of his buddies, knocking them both to the ground. The bullet misses both of them, instead hitting his long-time childhood friend, who's dead before he hits the ground.

<OOC> Osprey says, "Ok, we'll stop here before the next initiative roll. Tomorrow I can be on around 8-9ish EST, that ok with everyone?"

Session 2

Recap:

The group is moving away from the stage, towards the east end exit, in an attempt to make it out of this increasing ganger brawlzone. All the protesters have left by now, signs and banners and various other things littering the ground as a 'drop it and run the frag outta here' option was forced onto the crowd by the time Tank started pinging off gangers halfway across the grounds. Leaving more hostile Crimson Crush gangers in the throes of a fire spirit, the group , led by Hellborn and their mark, with niho close by and Tank bringing up the rear (his attention has been increasing the gap between the further crowds and the team). The most recent of Tank's victims, a young halloweener punk is being shaken violently in a vain attempt to 'wake' him up, but the hole in his shoulder has bled all out over both their sets of colors. Ahead lie scattered squatters and other folk, standing in awe at the raging fire spirit and the group who seems to be a hotspot of attention, wondering their place in all of this as well.

<OOC> Osprey says, "Current Distances/options. First off, Tank you have to reload this series of turns. Second"
<OOC> Osprey says, "Second: You guys are a full turn away from the stage, that's the center point of where all the people who are possibly active in combat lie currently. Half a turn away are the gangers and the fire spirit, they might be able to attack you but are currently pre-occupied. At the stage are now the 2 remaining crimson crush gangers, their friend left crawling behind now a full turn away from them. 2 turns from the stage and 1 turn from the crawling Crush ganger are the remaining halloweeners, currently regrouping after deciding one of their chums is best left to lie for now."
<OOC> Osprey says, "So far, without any danger from ahead (yet?) there are 2 crimson crush on the ground near the spirit, 1 currently engulfed by it, and one running away to the south. At the stage are the 2 more crimson crush, crawling on the ground is 1 more crush member, and then there are the 3 Halloweeners regrouping. That's all behind you to the west."
<OOC> Niho says, "I'm trying to grasp all of this"
<OOC> Osprey says, "Yea, it was alot going on.... i dunno if im describing it correctly, but everyone is moving east, and they are all full combat turns away. If for any chance you stop running for a full combat turn, they'll be one step closer, but for now you are all on the move"
<OOC> Tank says, "Yeah. We're doing a strategic retreat to the east, in order to avoid the wave of gangers to the west. One of the four in our way is running away, two others are on the ground, and the last is engulfed in flame."
<OOC> Osprey says, "Yes, so if the two get up and can move before any of you, they might attack you, but for the most part you guys are getting away from them."
<OOC> Osprey says, "I'm also wondering if a fire spirit can have one creature engulfed and still attack another target"
<OOC> Osprey says, "though the chump's fragged the next turn the spirit does damage to him anyways..."
<OOC> Hellborn says, "Well, once the guy is on fire, I think he can let the guy go. Wink"
<OOC> Hellborn says, "I suppose the spirit could still flamethrower someone, tho."
<OOC> Osprey says, "do any of you have the running skill?"
<OOC> Osprey says, "Yea that might happen"
<OOC> Hellborn has the athletics skill group at 2.
<OOC> Niho says, "Ok, I'm up to speed. Regardless the spirit is going to chase that guy down, some how or some way."
<OOC> Tank says, "Probably after it kills the other three first."

<OOC> Osprey says, "ya you're the only one, if you want to roll as an attempt to get ahead you can use that as a speed burst in case you have to get a head of the group with the mark. Just let me know"
<OOC> Tank says, "Either way, the four of them are good as dead."
<OOC> Niho says, "I said kill those 4, and if he's still alive, he's got a force five spirit chasing him until sundown."
<OOC> Hellborn points out that sundown wasn't all that far away. Wink

<OOC> Osprey says, "Ya it's just after 2000, the spirit is gonna begone soon after this debaucle"

<OOC> Tank says, "Absolutely terrifying spirits is nothing less than what I expected outta Niho. XD"

<OOC> Osprey says, "So, I suppose if everyone's up to speed, we can do inits, as you guys are still in distance of the gangers battling the fire spirit."
<OOC> Hellborn says, "BTW, I don't suppose anyone thought to get the keys to the truck?"

<OOC> Osprey says, "Nobody asked or thought of it"

<OOC> Osprey says, "T. Burnett also went awol, seemingly, and you guys only communicate over your channel. Unless Lenny knows anything you guys don't"
<OOC> Niho says, "hope you can hotwire the bitch"
<OOC> Hellborn says, "I suppose we all figured that the manager had them, and then he disappeared. Wink"

<OOC> Osprey says, "But then again he showed up on his own with his bike"
<OOC> Tank says, "Niho, summon a spirit of man, tell it to start the engine and keep it running 'till we're done with it. XD"
<OOC> Tank says, "Hmmm. I dunno if Tank can hotwire a car."

<OOC> Osprey says, "Niho spent time preparing a fire spirit neh? 3 services i believe"
<OOC> Hellborn says, "Niho dropped his translate spell. You just sound like gibberish to him. Wink"

<OOC> Osprey says, "Oh yes, let's not forget about that detail, thanks HB Cheesy"
<OOC> Niho says, "well now I look like a meta gamer, cmon man, I've used this kind of trick before =P Either way I doubt a spirit of man can hotwire"
<OOC> Tank says, "He dropped the translate spell, but I can still talk English. Tongue"
<OOC> Niho says, "I've got other plans if it all goes badly and nobody can get the car started"
<OOC> Hellborn says, "Heh. I don't think that's the problem, Tank."
<OOC> Tank says, "I don't think its a problem, either."

<OOC> Osprey says, "So the path is still to the east, and theres some loose ideas on what to do when getting there. Is the way clear, and is everything needed going to be there? often wondered by many...If you guys want to take the chance you could attempt defaulting on the run skill and the three of you can try sprinting ahead a bit of the orks vs spirit, get back to free rp until you either 1) get stopped from your run via chaos 2) stop running yourselves"
<OOC> Hellborn says, "How far away is the truck/van?"
<OOC> Tank doesn't have a run skill.
<OOC> Tank says, "Hehehe."
<OOC> Tank says, "Tank doesn't know how to run. Tongue"

<OOC> Osprey says, "Still going along with the turn system of distances, you have 3 turns til the exit"
<OOC> Osprey says, "A little simple but i'll get better i promise Cheesy"

<OOC> Tank says, "Right, then. Are we ready to go, then?"
<OOC> Osprey says, "Sure thing, let's roll those inits, try and get you guys away from danger and back to free rp!"
<OOC> Hellborn says, "So, it's about 51-75 meters away. Heh."
<OOC> Niho says, "Rolling Intuition(4) + Reaction(3) = 7 Dice."
GAME: Niho rolls 7 dice: 2 2 3 4 4 6 6 (2 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
<OOC> Niho says, "Initiative 9."
<OOC> Hellborn says, "Rolling int 4 + rea 4 (Cool"
GAME: Hellborn rolls 8 dice: 1 1 2 3 3 5 6 6 (3 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

GAME: Tank rolls 11 dice: 1 3 3 3 3 4 5 5 5 6 6 (5 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
<OOC> Tank says, "Init 16"
<OOC> Tank appropriately puts on Johnny Mnemonic as background noise to his gaming.
<OOC> Osprey says, "Hrmm init for the fire spirit is 13..."
GAME: Osprey rolls 13 dice: 1 1 1 2 2 2 2 2 3 3 4 6 6 (2 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
<OOC> Osprey says, "The two gangers who are knocked down i suppose still have inits of 4, but the two wounded (1 engulfed and 1 leaving the battle) are down to 1 die due to -3 modifiers. They are'nt looking too healthy either"
GAME: Osprey rolls 4 dice: 1 2 3 6 (1 Hit) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
GAME: Osprey rolls 4 dice: 1 1 2 2 (0 Hits)  CRITICAL GLITCH!!! <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
GAME: Osprey rolls 1 dice: 1 (0 Hits)  CRITICAL GLITCH!!! <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
GAME: Osprey rolls 1 dice: 5 (1 Hit) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

<OOC> Osprey says, "Pretty much, you guys are first, Tank, then the fire spirit not far off, then hellborn, niho, then one of the gangers gets to get up and the others seem fragged...."
<OOC> Osprey says, "But hey, anything can happen. Tank is at the plate"

<OOC> Osprey says, "this place seems rather underpowered, but it is just a gathering outside of the squatters mall, lots of reg'lar chums and punk low-level gangers"
<OOC> Tank says, "Anyway, this pass I'm shouldering my rifle and drawing the pistol out of its concealed holster. Put down object(Simple action) and ready weapon(simple action)."

<OOC> Osprey says, "Let's see here... Fire Spirit is engulfing ganger 4 who looks to be at his limit, and will swat at the closest of the knocked down gangers, ganger 3"
Tank chuckles as he watches the ganger trying to shake his friend, as he continues stepping backwards. Pulling back the pin on the rifle, though, Tank realizes he's out of ammunition for the Remington. So, he pulls it up onto his shoulder by the strap with one hand, while the other reaches around his back under the lined coat he wears. The tall ork pulls out his smaller firearm, a Predator IV, switches the safety off, and readies it to kick some more ganger ass.

<OOC> Osprey says, "Fire spirit Unarmed (5) + Agility (7) = 12 vs ganger 3 (on ground)"
GAME: Osprey rolls 12 dice: 1 1 1 2 2 2 3 3 3 4 5 5 (2 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
<OOC> Osprey says, "Ok Gangers REaction is 2, and defender prone modifier is -2, so he's .. well sunk"

<OOC> Osprey says, "anyway modified damage value should be 9p, and here's the gangers body (4) -2 defender prone = (2) dice fr potential soak"

GAME: Osprey rolls 2 dice: 2 5 (1 Hit) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
<OOC> Osprey says, "8p to ganger 3, and posing"

Niho pages: Don't even need to respond to this, just thought it would be good for you to know in the future, you never penalize damage resistance tests unless specifically forced in the rules. aka prone would never make you more or less inclined to get stabbed and die. Just make it easier to stab you.

The fire spirit hisses loudly as the ganger engulfed insider is released onto the gravel behind it. That ganger is heavily charred and motionless. Now free of any excess weight, if that could even possibly be an issue with a spirit on its last service, it swings and connects heavily onto Ganger 3's backside

<OOC> Hellborn notes that ganger #2 is stunned, so I think I'll probably just run with Lenny and ... this is going to sound cliche. Summon a fire spirit?
<OOC> Hellborn says, "Let's pick force 4, nice round number. Magic 4 + conjuring 2 + mentor 2 so 8 dice vs fire spirit's 4 dice. Here's hoping."
GAME: Hellborn rolls 8 dice: 2 3 3 3 4 4 5 6 (2 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
<OOC> Hellborn says, "Do you want to roll for the spirit, Osp?"

<OOC> Osprey says, "You want me to roll the 4 against you eh? Sure"

GAME: Osprey rolls 4 dice: 3 3 5 6 (2 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

<OOC> Hellborn resists 4 drain to get nothing. I need new dice.
GAME: Hellborn rolls 8 dice: 1 4 5 5 5 5 5 6 (6 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

Niho pages: Ok, so one of the optional powers (I get to pick one per every 3 full levels of the spirit's force) is fear, I'd like to pick that one for my newly summoned ally. I'm commanding it to manifest and Use Fear on the crowd of gangers behind us.

Hellborn continues to move with Lenny towards the exit at a decent pace. He calls out to the astral for some backup ... but gets nothing. This is going to be a long night...

You paged Niho with 'so gonna have him use one service with that power. Which ones, the gangers getting stomped by the fire spirit, the ones at the stage, or the halloweeners 2 turns away from those guys?'.

Niho pages: Can I just suggest anyone chasing my friends and I? It has the assencing skill, it could differntiate between the two factions here astrally
You paged Niho with 'so the command would be that when anyone who reaches this point and tries to come after you guys it will utilize the fear power against them?'.
Niho pages: As long as I'm not inadvertantly affecting Tank too, yeah that sounds good to me.
You paged Niho with 'he isn't that far behind, its more along the lines of those who are a turn or more away from you'.
Niho pages: Then like a battlecruiser captain from Starcraft, Make it so! I've got my pose all ready, just letting you handle the mechanics
You paged Niho with 'alright, pose your set-up and your spirit will manifest and wait for a target to meet the specifications, you can command it however you like since we agree on how it'll work out, go ahead'.

Niho continues to run as fast as his robes will allow it, screeching out commands in portugese to an as of yet unseen force before a spark erupts from the back of the first fire elemental, spawning another for the gangers to ponder/fear. It roars, it's mouth a shimmering tunnel of molten heat, and glares down at the oncoming gangers with eyes like blazing coals.

Ganger 2 is crying as he struggles to get up.... the newly created spirit is very close to him, and has completely scared him shitless. The combined threat of two fire spirits is enough to send him running after his chum to the south.

<OOC> Osprey says, "So now we can start free Rp. You guys are running to the east, what are you doing? what will you discuss? We'll start at the back of the chain to the front, so Tank Niho Lenny Hellborn can be pose order if that makes things easier"

Tank stops for a moment, grinning broadly as the new spirit appears. "Now you know!" he shouts, "You not mess with Tank and Niho, da? Hahahaha!" He gets out a good, hearty laugh before the ork turns on his heels and starts making his way towards the escape vehicle, catching up to Niho and Hellborn, as well as their employer.
Running along at waist-height, Niho seems like a comic relief stuntman, but his focus is directed entirely on the car everyone is running towards. His eyes narrow as he concentrates intensely again, scanning very slowly the area surrounding the vehicle.

You paged Niho with 'astrally you see past the squatters relatively little, the area around the car doesn't seem to have anyone hostile near it'.
Niho pages: Thanks

Lenny huffs a few times, dragged along by HellBorn. "Dammit T. Burn! You really fried me on this one, we're through, fraggin' management...." The guitarist looks back at Niho and shoots him a grin, then turns back to Hellborn while they run. " So how the frag you gonna get us outta here anyway? I doubt that son of a slitch is waiting for us, he probably split or is off with a joygirl...."
Hellborn moves along with Lenny. He doesn't have time for Lenny's management problems at the moment. "We ... improvise," he tells the prima before adding on his comm, "Someone ... try ... start ... truck ... have bad ... feeling."

The group arrives at the transport, the beat up step-van that Lenny's crew hauls around for him, parked near a tinted windowed , equally as old and beat up mercury comet. It's quiet and only a few squatters are fleeing ahead towards the body mall and outher outlets of Redmond Proper. Good thing they came in such cheap rides because other than some new graffiti on the van, the mini convoy looks useable. Lenny sighs as he looks on. " Left my bike and my git-box... drek ain't my day...."
Hellborn looks at the beat up step-van, then looks to Lenny. "You ... have keys ... right?" he asks, a little hope in his voice.
Tank laughs as he tries the door on the van. "Redmond. Shit-stain of city, lucky to be alive with so many gang punks."

Lenny hrmphs as he scratches his head. " Naw....T. Burns usually has the key, he has this one guy who helps keep his neck safe and who he works with and does drugs with, like a lackey almost....." The door does open, however, and some random wires and bits of replacement equipment similar to what Lenny had on stage are found, though nobody else. Lenny continues. " Though T's car is still here too, wonder what those bastards are up to....I figured at least Kel would be left here watching the rides.....this place ain't no joke, T knew that..." The elf musician furrows his brow and is getting angry at such carelessness...
Tank pauses, looking at Lenny. "His car is here? Where?"
Hellborn watches as the door just opens up. "That ... not good," he says to Tank, "Best ... check ... before start." The bandaged man glances around, surveying the scene. He pays particular attention to seeing if he can spot T Burns.

Lenny jerks a thumb at the beat up Comet with the tinted windows while he lights a nic stick, keeping glances behind where the chaos seems to be stewing nicely. " Stupid Gangers....."

You paged Hellborn with 'just normal look or astral?'.

Tank stops his way over to the beat up Comet. Since the windows are tinted, he swings his pistol at the window to break it. No sense wasting ammo, and he doesn't have time to waste with doors.

Hellborn pages: Just normal. Mystic adept, after all. Wink

You paged Hellborn with 'nothing anyone else is seeing...place seems quiet'.

Niho pages: Did fear have any effect?
You paged Niho with 'no you've gotten no notice of anyone else triggering the fear, seems like that one group was the only ones really concerned with you folks, the others were just fighting amongst themselves'.
Niho pages: Well good to know, ill pose accordingly

The window smashes and glass explodes onto the blue-tinged face of T Burnett, passed out with blood streaks out his nose and that rich complexion as he lies in the drivers side seat. The man who was probably referred to as Kel is in the passenger side, also blue-faced and bloody. T. Burns has a piece of cloth tied around his arm and Kel's got needles, but these guys look dead moreso than just flyin on good ol' fashioned smack. One of the men has already loosened his bowels, and the car stinks.

Tank growls, "Drek." He reaches in, grabbing Burnett by the collar and dragging his body out of the car. He rummages through his clothes, taking everything he can find - credsticks, keys, wallet, watch, commlink, weapons, ammo. He's quick about it, stuffing things into his coat pockets.

Hellborn motions for Lenny to follow him to T. Burn's car, pulling him by the arm again if need be. The bandaged man only briefly pauses as Burnett's body is drug out of the car. "That ... bad," he says, once again looking around before moving to check the inside of the car.
Niho looks at Lenny, and asks as delicately as he can, "You want keep friend corpse in car?" with his broken english, before speaking the traditional Aztec's burial prayer(The brief, condensed version) before getting into the car, easily fitting into any unused space with his impressively diminished stature.

Lenny shakes his head as he's brough to see those two. "Ah frag it.....Just couldn't shake the dope could you you ...." The elf closes his eyes and cracks his knuckles nervously. " Let's get the hell outta here, I need a drink......"
Tank certainly doesn't plan on letting Kel stay in the car, as he's the next body that gets dragged out. He, as well, is rolled for his cash, keys, and other assorted valuables. That done, he climbs into the drivers seat, and starts trying keys.

Niho seems to ignore Tanks deplorable actions, stealing from the dead has become a necessary evil for the pair, and this is not the first time it's gone down this way. "If make followed, will make hidey-hide form."

<OOC> Niho says, "Dropping the Armor spell on Lenny, I'm no longer at a penalty to cast"

Hellborn helps out with the second body, not that Tank needs much help. However, when it comes to starting the car, he insists on taking Lenny back about ten meters from the car, and behind any nearby cover. Hellborn's seen this movie, after all.
Tank nods his head, swearing a few times in Russian as he attempts to get the right key to start the car. He hasn't seen any movies, all he knows is that this car got the two there, it'll get the four of them out.

The screams and cries from the abandoned stage area echo and clash with the vibrant thunderous vrrrrrrrrrr as Tank finally gets the right key slotted and turned. Lenny is looking to the ground and follows Hellborn back to the car after it seems to be 'ok..." So She's started, but where to? Lenny suggests the Sleep n Eat, where he has stashed some of his gear. "Guess I'll have to buy a new bike, too.... new ride... shit, I need a new life almost......"

Tank puts the car in gear and pulls out, starting to cruise down the street. He chuckles and nods his head. "Da, new life as good as old life. Still live in shit stain of city, make drek for pay. Speaking of pay, can drop you off at hotel or back with gangers. Your pick."

Niho doesnt understand most of what Lenny said, but sees the look on his face. "Is ok, make out with skin, no can buy new skin... omae." He pauses, clearly entertained by it.

Hellborn is relieved that everything is fine, not that the bandages show anything. One last look around before he follows Lenny back to the car. "We ... get out ... of here ... first," he notes as he opens up the back door.

Tank drives, getting them well away from the riotous gang war going on currently. He peers at Lenny, waiting for the man to give him some answer about pay, because he -can- turn this car right around.

Lenny is fiddling around looking for something in his pockets, and find his own commlink and a.r gloves. Once he gets himself set up, his pupils start to flash with information as he begins typing with his gloves. "...Wonderful... wireless enabled contacts......." mutters the elf as he stares past the windshield and seems to be making an adjustment. " It was supposed to be 16000, T. Burns had it set up as a seperate cred account for payment so that it wouldn't be traceable......Somebody subscribe to my PAN, please, I'll send an invite, and we'll make the transfer that way, then you guys can split it up however you do it..."
Hellborn looks at Tank for a second, then recalls that he had to do everything before with the comms ... and just goes ahead and subscribes to Lenny's PAN.

Tank is driving, he's not gonna start messing around with his comm just yet. he's a bad enough driver as it is.

Lenny finshes his portion and logs off his commlink, sliding the gloves off and putting them back in his pocket. " Let's go then, I've got a bottle of synth-whiskey waitin for me, you guys can split that up when we get there..." He closes his eyes and leans his head against the window, opening his almond elf-eyes here and there to watch the street go by

Tank puts on some slick wizpunk music and cruises down the street, making sure his rifle is tucked nicely out of view while he drives. He heads straight for the requested location, intent on getting a drink and his payment, not necessarily in that order.

The group spends a few of their new hard earned nuyen at the bar and accompany Lenny for some drinks. The time is little to erase the images left from the event today, but hopefully after rest and more days of contemplation, everyone can put it behind them. Though, the group itself was more than the better handled operations today, everything else was a planned bust. Lenny thanks you drunkenly as you part ways, back onto the cold streets of Redmond.

<OOC> Osprey says, "I'll admit you didnt lose your cool, and it worked well that you could prevent the molotov and garner an escape route by deflecting the charging gangers with the fire spirit..... It took hints from lenny to get outta there though, which isn't very good, but those were minimal. Though you all stuck to your characters styles....Hrmm, there was no announcement on sr4a just yet, im using just SR4 with my stuff personally"

<OOC> Osprey says, "So, this run was indeed a test, and though there was alot of threat potential and several 'areas' to get into trouble, it ended up being fairly underpowered. It was lengthy, split up over the course of almost 11 hours. The players ( you guys, lol) were successful in protecting the mark and leading him to safety, which was the main objective, as well as thought on your feet to handle some very random situations that came up. The johnson of the run was present and did not make it for different reasons, and pay was still acquired. Noted Acts for each of you are Hellborn's crucial stunbolt to push two gangers over who were in pursuit, Niho's use of his fire spirit to disarm the molotov tosser and keeping lenny out of very serious harm early on, and Tank's specific tone that he set as the muscle stuck with these two crazy mojo slingers. I will start with a base of (3) karma, since it was fairly hectic but easy with (1) karma awarded to each of you for these specific acts. Hellborn gets (1) karma for being the one to actually 'grab' lenny."

Awards:
Karma:
Tank - 4
Niho - 4
Hellborn - 5

Nuyen:
16000 to split

<OOC> Niho says, "so I'm going to generate myself 2500 nuyen of binding materials to represent that, ok?"
<OOC> Hellborn says, "Heh. You should probably state/make rolls to get it first, if you don't have it."
<OOC> Osprey says, "Wait you didn't have the cred for it?"
<OOC> Niho says, "? It's a - availability item. Legal, available in any store."
<OOC> Niho says, "No, I had the cred for it, I even bought another 2500=Y= worth of materials, for when I want to rebind the little bugger"
<OOC> Tank says, "What he's saying is he needs to use +inv/create to make himself the materials so he can use them, and the cred is spent properly."
GAME <Inventory>: Niho has just used one of his Spirit Binding Materials. <+roll/verify <pass>>

Part 2, Session 1
Players: Charlie, Jack, Hellborn
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The directions from your friendly neighborhood fixer get you to the back table in the crowded bar, Aces Scumpit. A cross-eyed ork is shuffling cards and staring off beyond the approaching runners. As everyone gets seated , arriving within a span of roughly half an hour, the ork dealer stands up as a Rastafari ork with long , dirty dreadlocks and Crimson Crush Colors sits down at the table as well. Dealer sits again, and the Rasta Ork displays his toothy maw with a large smile.

Hellborn stares around the room for a bit, examining the room with a bit of hesitation at first. Finally, he approaches the table to claim his seat. Silently, he eyes the ork J patiently.

Jack casually steps up to the table and slumps into an empty seat, a cigarette smoldering in his mouth. "Evenin'," he mutters, eyeing the ork up and down.

As you all sit down, theres now about 7 or so tougher types, a few gangers too, gathered at the table. The Rasata Ork speaks. "So, we be findin' some folk 'ere aftah all, ya choomah? Interested in makin' more cred dan ye can fin' at da tables yea? You folk' be intahrested in 'elpin da Crush ? " You can feel the Ork forcing his eyes through each one of you, even if you're still on the fence, he wants to know if anyone will bite. He keeps talking..." One Kay up front, 3 kay for bringin da boy back wit da goods..."

Charlie makes his way towards the table to sit down before the ork speaks. "What sort of trouble are you expecting?"

The Ork looks at Charlie , tilting his head a bit. " Gots da A are Oh's poppin' up wit t'hreats to da Crush, but dat doesn' mean we gotta stop wit our biziness... Meetin da courier in the plastic jungles, not 'xpectin anythin but wit da angry Halloweeners around dey might pop up and ruin' ta deal.

"I'm in." Jack exhales a cloud of acrid smoke. "When's the meetup?"
Hellborn pauses for a moment, but when Jack speaks up he says, "I'm ... in too." His voice seems hesitant, and hoarse.

A few of the other guys have gotten up and left, one younger ganger is still sitting with Hellborn, Charlie, and Jack at the table talking to the Rasta Ork. "Later tonight, if'n ya needs ta go home n get ya gear n drek ya can, but meet back in three, we'll pay whoever shows up t'here one kay to start and then like ah said ya bring back our side of te bargain well done den ya get the rest 'f it...

"Go-gangers, Aye. I'm on." The mariner says, before hrming, "Cargo something... not unusual, I gather? And your man, any experience with bullets and bombs, or is he green 'round the gills?" Charlie asks, cocking his head a little bit. His New England maritime accent sits at a professional non-chalant.

The younger ganger is changing outta his gang colors, a few older members shaking their heads but knowing he's gotta do it, might as well get comfortable in the new flats and leather jacket without gang ID. He squeaks in response. " I know what we're gettin, for sure, n'I gots mah Pred if drek hits the fan, breeder."
"Outstanding." Charlie says, before nodding, "Three hours, aye. I'll be back."

The Rasta Ork Nods. " Three hours, den. " He eyes up Jack, Hellborn, and Charlie, pausing a bit at each before nodding again. " Get yer selves ready, try not ta be dressed ta cause a scene too, and if ya got a spare ride I'd suggest bringin' 't out, ah'll throw an extra two kay fer not usin our set

Hellborn sighs slightly, then looks at Charlie. Unfortunately, mask and bandages conceal whatever message he would convey via his facial expressions.

<OOC> Osprey says, "Well, while you guys are hashing out the last details, ill give you a rundown. You will be starting at the Scumpit, down in the south-central portion of Redmond, whereas the Plastic Jungles are in the northwestern region of the 'rens. It's about a 20 minute drive straight through the city streets onto the highway and up and around, where you come out around the area of the crash zone and enter the Plastic Jungles from the north. The rendezvous is right outside there, at an intersection in front of one of the larger, run down and converted aggro tents."

<OOC> Osprey says, "Its assumed that you must escort the 'mule' to the rendezvous, await the exchange, await confirmation, then escort the mule safely back to turf"
<OOC> Charlie says, "Right."
<OOC> Osprey says, "you guys have decided to go with the provided transportation?"
<OOC> Jack is taking his bike.
<OOC> Charlie says, "So, riding on our side then?"
<OOC> Jack nods
<OOC> Hellborn says, "What is the provided transportation?"
<OOC> Osprey says, "It'll be a black spraypainted Rover 2068"
<OOC> Hellborn says, "Spraypainted black, or black with something spraypainted on it?"
<OOC> Osprey says, "It looks like its been graffitoed over and over, and the final coat is a rushed spraypainted black to try and class it up a little"
<OOC> Ospreywill switch to 'before departing' rp mode and will issue more IC instructions if you guys are set?

2200 , Mon, April 27. The moon is Waxing Crescent, and the group has returned to the Scumpit. The first time there, the place wasn't nearly as packed, and once inside the fact is clear. LArge groups of orks, trolls, even a dwarf or two, are filling the scumpit to the brin. The Rasta ork is checking a broken digital clock that he is now wearing , in an old school fashion, around his neck, and keeping an eye on the door. Everyone is talking and getting restless, as if they want to leave but are forced to stick around...

Jack steps into the Scumpit, motorcycle helmet under one arm. He scans the room for a second and grunts. Walking up to the rasta ork, he nods. "Ready to get goin'."

Hellborn returns, the only aparent difference is now he is wearing his helmet along with his gear. The rest of his armor concealed beneath his coat. His eyes scan the room for a moment before moving to join Jack.

Affixing a plain green seabag to his bike and locking it up in the alley, making his way to the meeting point, his black N-1 jacket zipped all the way up, his HK slung around his back, and a helmet clipped to a stray peice of web gear...Charlie steps front, making sure his Secura is firmly held in its thigh holster, affixed to a tough pair of jeans.

The younger ganger ork who will be playing the role of the mule approaches jack and HB with a grunt. " Da Chief wants us to leave as one big group, we's gonna follow a few other guys on da highway until we gets ta our exit, jus' in case anybody's watchin da place for us ta be makin dis move...

Jack nods to the ork while glancing around at the other gangers present. "Gotcha."

The Young Mule adjusts some goggles on his head and you see they're wired to a commlink. " I'm settin' me PAN in passive, scan me and I'll add ya...." The Rasta Ork whistles, ushering some folk to start leaving in the large mob. He also chimes in over the head of the young ork. " And don' forget ta set y'selves passive again, jah fraggit', ah ca'not give away ya location' scan ? Start hittin da road, 'ey Skratch.. " which seems to be directed to the young ork mule.. " Be sure ta transfer de start pay when dey join ya PAN, ye?"

Hellborn, wanting to get paid, subscribes himself to the Mule's network as instructed. Of course, once that's done he double checks to make certain that *HE* is hidden. At least, from those not in the group.

Jack fishes out his Sony Emperor(TM) and taps at the touchscreen, subscribing and setting as requested. He starts moving toward the door with the rest of the group, putting the commlink back on his belt and putting on the helmet.

Charlie glances down, fiddling with his Comlink and subscribing to the PAN, setting himself to hidden afterwards, and keeping tabs to make sure he doesn't give any more access then necessary to the gangers net.

Rasta-Ork Whistles loudly and everyone starts to head out of the bar, the young ork holding up a set of 'rover keys. " Anybody want to take tha' wheel, or will ya be watchin my back as I get 'dere?"

Hellborn shakes his head 'no', then looks at Charlie.

"I'm not the best driver." Charlie says, simply, patting the gun on his thigh.

The young ork nods and tosses the keys up in the air, then catches them with a grin. " I ken drive fine, den....Guess we'll go as a group, wit' da biker ..." He jerks a thumb at Jack. " Alongside... aight... Dat ken work...."

Jack nods, "I gotcher back. We ready?"

The groups of gangers, thugs, and general 'rens drinkers leave the Scumpit, and groups of bikes and beat up cars start to pull out of the lot and onto the road, heading towards where one can get onto the highway from this section of Redmond. Mule hops in the front seat of a black-spraypainted Rover 2068 and starts her up , the engine chugging to life. He waits for those coming with him before pulling out ahead of Jack on his bike, heading behind a beat up Step-van with the tag 'SyKo' spraypainted onto it.

The group weaves through the city streets without aproblem, and accompany a few other bikes and the same step-van onto the highway and northward, towards The Plastic Jungles.....

<OOC> Osprey says, "Ok, who's riding shotguy, who's in the back, and Jack you have an idea where the group is going, do you stay behind, in front of, or to the side of the teams rover?"
<OOC> Jack will stay on the side.
<OOC> Charliewill ride shotgun, rather.
<OOC> Hellborn will ride in the back, then.

His HK-227 resting on his chest, Charlie keeps his trained eyes on the road around the Rover, scanning the distence and any that seem to be acting unusual. His right finger rests, straight, above his weapon's trigger, "Lotta yen for a package." He muses, idly.

The van labeled Syko pulls off a few exits after you all get onto the highway, so it's the Rover and a cadre of bikes heading to the plastic jungles approach. Some of the larger aggrotents peek up from the edge as the rover rolls along towards the rendezvous. Mule chimes in. "DIs ain' no joke now dat we got dose pissed off 'weeners, da Chief knows the price of such an investment fa sure..."

You paged Charlie with 'roll me perception if you have it'.
GAME: Charlie rolls 4 dice: 3 5 6 6 (3 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

You paged Charlie with 'its a quiet night, there aren't too many other vehicles on the road. You think you hear an aircraft fly overhead, nothing too strange. You can however see over the egde of the road , and you can pick out a person and a parked bike in front of one of the larger tents as you get closer to the appropriate exit'.

Hellborn sits in the back, playing with his seatbelt. His right hand rests upon the belt's release, just in case.

Jack keeps an equal speed with the rover, leaning forward on his bike. Gloved hands grip the handlebar with intent. His expression is masked by the helmet, but one gets the feeling he is in his 'zone' right now, is it were.

Mule chimes in on the commlink to everyone connected to his PAN. " Alright chums, we'se about ta get off, how do ya guys want ta watch my back? I said I'd be meetin' wit da courier and her one guard, said I'd be bringin at least 2 other people since da chief wasn' sure how many'd show up for tha job

Charlie adjusts himself in his seat, sittign up, reaching up to his throat microphone, taped to his neck, "Bike, Shotgun. Keep an eye on this guy next to his bike, coming up at the exit."

Hellborn looks up and attempts to find the man next to his bike that Charlie is talking about.

The rover peels off the next exit, wrapping around a gut wrenching turn which allows Mule to let out a loud bray of joy. At the bottom of the exit, one can see the road splits, one way towards the infamous Crash Zone, and the other towards the green tents you all just passed, and which are your rendezvous. Mule picks the latter and hopes Jack is behind, the ork driver clearing his throat and preparing himself for work. " Aight, jus' let me do the talkin, 'bviously...."

Jack whips around the turn, letting the rover get in front so they don't collide. He gets back up to speed and scans the area, looking for the biker Charlie mentioned.

With his right hand, Hellborn presses the release on the seatbelt. It slides over his left shoulder as it swishes its way back to its retracted position. Then, with his left hand Hellborn brings two fingers up towards his mask. There is a soft exhale for a moment as the masked man focuses himelf before making a call into the astral.

<OOC> Hellborn will be summoning a Force 4 fire elemental with guard power. 4 magic + 2 summoning +2 mentor spirit, so 8 dice vs 4.

As the vehicle stops, and the Ork starts to leave, Charlie nods, "I'll be right behind you. Bandages here'll cover the vehicle, Biker in reserve." He turns, glancing towards Hellborn and nodding, before relaying his intended order towards Jack via the microphone, waiting to arrive.

As you all get closer to the main entrance of the aggro tents, the green parapets that flutter in the polluted redmond sky known as the Plastic Jungle, you can see your target. An elf biker, in full black leather and a wicked all-chrome mohawk is smoking a nic stick and talking to a large Troll in a lined coat, commlink noticeably connected to a monocle headband around his large meta-skull. They are both hanging around a parked yamaha growler and hear the rover and bike pull up. The Troll straightens himself but the elf plays it cool, smiling as he sees the ork and his passenger. 'Bandages' remains in the back and out of view, for now...

Jack brakes to a halt and switches off the bike, taking off his helmet. He eyes the elf and the troll, but doesn't get up from the bike just yet.

Mule's PAN is switched to hidden, though the link remains between the team of course. He swings open the door slowly and hops down, standing there and letting the Elf eye him over before nodding to the troll, who steps to the side, where just behind him is a stack of closed and locked chip cases. The Elf flicks his cigarette behind him, then takes a step towards one of the cases and picks it up, waiting for a move from Mule.

Mule looks at Charlie, motioning to stand in front of the 'rover before he plans on meeting in the middle with the Elf.
"Stay on the bike, in case we need to chase something." Charlie transmits to Jack, before unbuckling his seatbelt, opening the door, and stepping out. He steps around the door, closing it behind him, before moving in front of the truck, looking the elf and troll over.

Hellborn groans to himself for a moment as he fights off the pain. Silently, he curses his fortunes. Worriedly, he looks around the area as if expecting things to be getting worse.

Mule reaches deep under his shirt for a second, then pulls out a different commlink. He is the first one to speak. " Per Agreement, this proxy is prepared. " He then holds it out towards the elf and sets it at his feet.

The elf cackles and bites his lip, then walks forward to meet Mule. His voice is dry and thin. " Then.. you can check our end too?" He extends the chip case out for Mule to look over.

Mule's PAN signifies he is checking out an ARO on the case, which is forwarded to all of you automatically. The Detailed specs of the chips are visible, and Mule is in the process of verifying the product.

Jack nods in response to Charlie's message and looks at the info being displayed on the commlink, glancing back up at Mule and the other two.

The info zips across Charlie's image link, and he reviews what he can, though his expertise in electronics isn't particularly notable. He keeps the elf and the troll in his foreground, his face empty of any emotion other then a professional mild annoyance at everything around him.

Hellborn looks at the Mule and the elf uncertainly for a moment as he checks out what's going down. Then, his eyes involuntarily go to eye the men that the elf brought with him. Resuming his previous pose, he holds his focus as he watches the meet.

Mule Nods and picks up the commlink, then holds it out for the Elf to examine. The elf pulls a monofilament cable out from a fingertip compartment and plugs one end into the commlink and the other into a 'jack behind his head. The elf's eyes flash as he takes a second to analyze something before nodding. He steps aside, unplugs the wires, and walks towards the Troll, leaving Mule with the commlink still in hand. The elf begins to gather up the chip cases and walks them over, the troll folding his arms in front of him as he stares out at Charlie and Mule, watching his buddy's back.

The exchange occurs, and Mule takes a step back as the elf does the same, and the two head to their vehicles slowly. Mule stands and watches as the Elf hops on the bike, slipping the commlink into a saddlecompartment and revving the throttle.

Session 2 (Cobalt Joins the Group)

(re-pose)

Jack rests on the seat of the bike, scanning the surroundings of the plastic jungle with a quirked frown. "As good a heap as any, 'spose," he mutters to himself.
Hellborn looks out at what's left of the 'meet'. He vocalizes into his comm, "If ... that's it ... could we ... leave?"

You paged Jack with 'gimme a perception roll while you're scannin''.
GAME: Jack rolls 7 dice: 1 1 1 2 3 4 6 (1 Hit) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
You paged Jack with 'pretty boring stuff Cheesy'.
From afar, Jack grins

His helmeted head turning from the elf, to the troll, and back to the mule, Charlie starts walking backward towards the car, stopping at the passenger side door, and opening it up, "Sounds like a good enough idea. Keep your eyes pealed, ain't out of things yet."

Mule is still watching the elf and troll, then turns to get into the 'rover. He is sending a message via PAN. "Put these in the back, t'eres a compartment to lock'm up in. We should split, fast. " He starts her up, and hits the throttle two times once the engine's at a nice purr.

The Elf pulls out in front of the group and books it down the road they came from. The troll is still just standing there, with his arms crossed. Mule starts to pull out and turns down the same way as the courier, towards the highway.

Hellborn looks around for the compartment, seeing as how he's in the 'back'.
You paged Hellborn with 'looks like it goes into the rear seat, push button open/close'.

Charlie, back in the car, keeps an eye on the surroundings while Hellborn looks for the compartment. His eyes trail on the troll as they leave, before keeping an eye on the vehicle's mirrors.

Hellborn finds the compartment, grabs the goods and begins putting them away into the compartment. That done he slams it shut, before taking another look around.

You paged Hellborn and Charlie with 'while we wait for jack gimme perception rolls'.

Jack wraps fingers around the handlebars, seeming a little tense. He kicks the bike back on, the engine revving to life, and puts his helmet back on. He hits the gas and swerves around to drive up alongside Mule's Rover.

GAME: Charlie rolls 4 dice: 2 4 4 6 (1 Hit) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
You paged Charlie with 'he looks like he's still just standing there as you get on the highway Cheesy'.

The rover pulls up right behind the Elf courier, back at the onramp, who is revving his engine once you are all in clear view. He zooms ahead, and Mule comes up behind him alot slower, letting the elf get a little distance from the team. Once Jack's bike is ready to merge with the 'rover, Mule starts cruising down the highway, a little after midnight. Not many cars on the road, but Mule keeps the couriers tail lates within sight as you begin to head back.

You paged Cobalt with 'ok, so you and another ganger are heading down the highway in the opposite direction of the team, I will begin a small scenic page. Ganger: ...so da'ts when ah smacked da guuurl for crossin' me. Ah.. " Mutters the young Ork Ganger. " We's only 5 or 6 stops away from where we get's off, so play it cool when we get d'ere, scan?" He's awfully bossy for such a young ork.'.
Cobalt pages: Righto

GAME: Jack rolls 7 dice: 1 2 4 4 5 5 6 (3 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
GAME: Hellborn rolls 6 dice: 1 1 2 3 4 6 (1 Hit) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
GAME: Charlie rolls 4 dice: 2 2 5 6 (2 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>

You paged Jack with 'as you're about to merge you can see the headlights of a car heading in your direction in the distance, as well as what looks like an odd small lump off to the far left shoulder, past where the Elf biker passe'.
You paged Charlie with 'quiet night, only car coming is off in the distance as you're about to merge'.
You paged Hellborn with 'quiet night, you can see a car coming down the highway opposite, nothin else is on the road currrently'.
Hellborn pages: Of course, I got one hit. So I could be totally WRONG.

Mule peels off down the highway, and lets out a sigh of relief. He digs for a nicstick while he drives, finding one and using an old rusty zippo to light it. " Hoooowwwweeee, that fraggin' keeb scares the drek outta me every time I see his skinny ass, man. I dunno why, bu' I jus' can stand dose 'trix types, dey freak me out. I hang wit tec' like da next guy but could never get inta ta drek dey do..."

Mule keeps blathering along, driving back to Crush turf.....a car spraypainted a similar color passes the rover and seems to slow down, Mule huffs as it catches his eye when flying past. " Ah frag, Da Chief sent Dale out ta back us up, drek, can' he relax jus a spell?? "

You paged Cobalt with 'Dale (your ganger) : Ah drek, now I gots ta turn aroun, dey're alreayd on their way back. ( roll me your visual perception roll please when you're ready, and you and Dale will follow behind the rover.'.

GAME: Cobalt rolls 9 dice: 1 1 1 3 4 4 4 5 6 (2 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
You paged Cobalt with 'while you guys are turning around, a van with a big pumpkin spraypainted on it flies past you, on its way to catching up to the other Crush team....'.

Cobalt pages: No chance of being given the commlink code they're using?
You paged Cobalt with 'Dale has it, he's gonna subscribe and then you can subscribe to them, I'll pose you both subscribing to the pan and then you can pose'.
Cobalt pages: Danke

Two new users have joined your PAN. Mule snorts, sending a message to everyone. " Dale! Yer late, step it up ya slacker!"

Over the PAN comes a new message from the second subscriber, "Halloweener van comin' right up yer backside chummah's." Meanwhile Cobalt thumps the kid driving the bike on the shoulder lightly, "Pick it up." While he reaches with his right hand for one of the thunderbolts on his hip.

Jack looks over to the side of the road and signals to Mule, indicating something on the far left shoulder.

Charlie goes to his internal air, frowning a little as the messege pops up on his PAN. He shoulders the HK-227 resting on his chest, and unbuckles his seat belt to move around, "Show some force, shipmates." He clicks over the comm, peering behind the van to where Jack is pointing.

Hellborn turns around, making double certain that he's buckled in, (Cause a big van just screams, ram you off the road.) before looking backwards to get a glimpse of the van in question.

Mule notices Jack's signal as the rover and bike fly around the first bend....... As the team passes the object pointed out on the side of the road, it seems to move a little bit, slowly gaining some speed behind. It appears to be a wheeled drone, and just behind that.....

The sound of blasting heavy metal music enters the air, as the van signaled by the mysterious newcomer to the scene is now in sight. It's bright green with a huge flaming orange jack o lantern painted on the sides , hood, top , and back . The wailing two guitar harmony echoes as some masked Gangers are sticking their head out of the windows, yelling as they attempt to gain action. The elf courier is now out of sight entirely, so in front os the Rover team, a few car lengths behind is the halloweener van, one car length behind that is the wheeled drone, and right behind the drone is Cobalt and Dale. Jack is still at the van's side ( and I've yet to do anything like this so bear with me. )

<OOC> Cobalt says, "Osprey, what kind of distance between me and the kid on the bike and the van?"
<OOC> Osprey says, "I'd say about 50 meters currently, it was moving fast when it passed you guys, gonna do vehicle initiative after one pose from each, the van is gaining momentum on the rover, and dale is trying his best to keep up. Theres a drone just ahead of you two and it's chasing after the van as well"

Cobalt messages over the PAN, "They're rarin' for a fight, stupid style, head outta the windows an' all. You find a nice defensible position an' we can catch 'em in a crossfire maybe?" He pulls one of the pistols off his hip and it clicks, readying itself through the link as the safetly clicks off. "See if yah can close the distance chummah." As he moves to roll down the window on the vehicle of whatever type it is he is coming in.

Mule responds fast, even while driving. "If we gets ta turf we're safe, got numbers d'ere... gotta keep drivin, we can' let em catch us, scan?"

"Damned renegades." Charlie grumbles, hooking one foot down to stabalize himself and pointing his gun towards the van in the back, to provide a more stable fireing spot, "Don't suppose they'd turn about after a stern warning." He clicks his com, "If thats a go-ganger in the van, I'd bet more on my marksmanship over us out-manuvering them." He turns to towrds the Mule, "Though, if you're /really/ good."

Hellborn tries to get a good look at the van's driver from the backseat. The index and middle finger of his left hand are brought up to his face, almost like he was praying. The bandaged man takes a deep breath and focuses himself on his breath.

"Dammit," Jack grunts, taking a hand off of the handlebars and ripping the patch on his pants leg, revealing chrome underneath. A compartment of the cyberleg ejects with a whirr and a hiss, and Jack grabs the Manhunter it holds. "Go for the tires?" he broadcasts to the rest of the team, levelling the pistol at the van.

One of the gangers has tied a belt to the door and is ... getting out a la 'Ships Mast' to get on top of the front of the van, climbing up and bracing himself while his chum keeps hot on the tail of Mule and co. Dale is trying his best to catch up past the drone to get Cobalt in a better position.

Mule huffs in response to Charlie. " I aint da greatest but 'pparently im da only one who can really drive outta all a us, so keep yer eyes keen and cover our asses! "

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mana begins to well into the point of the bandaged man's fingers. His eyes peer out of his mask at the one driving the halloweener van. The Adrenaline of the upcoming fight rushes out with the mana and a forceful exhale of breath. Hellborn's left hand jerks as it releases its mana projectile into its target...

The halloweeners keep blasting their music and the driver is getting angry, noticing in the distance that someone in the back looks like they are motioning towards him. " Fuckin Freak, WE's rammin'---" is all he's able to get out as a surge of force blasts right into him, causing the driver to lean forward on the wheel, eyes almost completely shut as he struggles with the task at hand --- not blacking out.

The passenger side 'weener is baffled by this action but tries encouraging him to stay sharp. "Hold the damn wheel straight, Tyler!" The one on top falls off and hits the street, wincing and cursing loudly as he clutches his shoulder, left behind by this now out of control van.

<OOC> Osprey says, "cobalt, the van looks like its slowed down a bit at least, but still medium distance between you and the soon to be lagging behind Dale"

<OOC> Osprey says, "Hrmm apparentlyi added the damage incorrectly and the driver is definately passing out...I apologize for my unprofessionalism..... However for the sake of up to his turn he's driving straight, for now. Im using too many GM conveniences , I fear. Ok, so the ruger is being supported by the built in gyromount, you're firing two shots based on stated ranges and modifiers, same distance this pass. Go ahead Cobalt."

<OOC> Cobalt says, "First shot on the van"\

Cobalt sticks his arms out the window, messaging over the PAN, "Trying to disable the van and the drone chummahs." while watching the targetting reticle over his eyes thanks to his contacts. The ruger in the ork's hand spits out six bullets in two clumps of 3, the stock n shock flying through the air to slam into the side of the van and deliver it's electrical payload into the system, and then another three slamming into the drone which doesn't do enough at all to get out of the way to deliver another poweful electric charge.

The drone short circuits shortly afterword, its build not nearly potent enough to take the brunt of that electric pulse, smoke starting to pour from the top. The van sputters, as it slows its momentum even more than when the driver was knocked out cold, the pulses of electricity frying some of the circuitry and forcing an auto-shutdown. The van itself starts to slide into the guardrail, sending sparks all across the other side of the highway. Though Dale and Cobalt slow as they drive past, they too soon leave the two heaps of junk behind, swearing that they can still hear the shouts of the one conscious ganger at his street-brother.

Mule chimes in over the PAN... "Dat was both of dem? HOly drek Dale, who're you wit back d'ere??"

"Nicely done, chummers," Jack says, lowering his gun and grinning as the van drifts out of control.

Dale chirps in, over PAN. " Huh... well we've not too much further, bastards were rollin fast and this's what dey get....

Mule is quiet, seems to be thinking some things over and focusing on driving.

Hellborn watches the van until it passes out of view before turning around to face Charlie and the Mule (Which sounds like an 80's tv show).

Cobalt pulls his arm back in and the gyromount in his wrist pops back into it's hidden place as he fixes his sleeve. The ruger goes back into it's holster on his left hip, the right apparently more dangerous. Over the PAN he says, "Jus' yer friendly neighborhood Cobalt back here chummah." He chuckles and looks at Dale, "Told yah the drive would be wort' it chummah." He keeps an eye out tho, for more things comin'. Never safe till... just never.

<OOC> Jack rolls perception.
GAME: Jack rolls 7 dice: 1 1 1 4 5 5 5 (3 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
You paged Jack with 'Well, you're the only one who rolled, you swear you see something small flying out of the corner of your eye, overhead and away from your area, looks like back to the direction where you guys came.'.

GAME: Cobalt rolls 9 dice: 1 1 1 2 2 3 3 5 6 (2 Hits) <+roll/verify <pass> to set verify>
<OOC> Cobalt says, "Perception"
You paged Cobalt with 'Something wizzes past your window, heading in the opposite direction.'.

"Anyone else see that?" Jack's helmeted head turns sharply. "Somethin' flew by."

Cobalt twists his head back around to try and get a view on whatever 'it' is, either on thermal or with vision magnification but... "Saw sometin' chummah. Null ID." Is sub-vocalized to the PAN.

Mule growls , vocally over PAN. "Only three exits to go, we'll be back on turf den. Just speed tin's up, we can pick'r off at da offramp.

Cobalt sub-vocals, "Seems ta be anudder o' dem tings I jus' fragged, the little one." Over the PAN, "Headin' other way from us, back toward da mess."

Dale chirps in. " Hrmm.. frag it, might jus' be a support for the ground one.... Mule! Imma call de boss and tell him we're on our way!

Mule honks the horn of the rover and Dale responds, as Dale drops from the PAN to make his personal call...Mule chatters away. " WEll, you folk're no joke... dun t'ink da chief knows who he n'vested in

Over the comms, Hellborn says, "How ... far ... til we ... get there?"

"Just about there, coming up on your right," Jack broadcasts, addressing Hellborn.
Cobalt chuckles and sends over the PAN, "Didn' have anythin' bettah ta be doin' t'night s'all. That an' dem pumpkin heads are a fragged up bunch. Never 'urts ta sting 'em some."

And so Mule pulls off the highway, the landrover , comet , and mirage trying to quicken their pace as best they can in order to leave the wreckage for some junkyard owner to salvage. A few bikes painted a bright red start to dot the streets, surrounding the group en route to return to the Scumpit, and central turf of the Crimson Crush. Dale's young tusks are gleaming with pride, as this must've been one of his bigger achievements for the gang as well as his own fledgling career. Mule is unaffected, he remains silent the whole while until the entire group pulls back into the lot.

Mule and Dale shut off their transport shortly after parking, Waiting for the other gangers to resume their posts before making any moves. Mule looks back to Hellborn. " Leave the Merch in the ride, somebody's comin to pick it up right now."

Hellborn nods to Mule without question, unbuckles himself, and gets out of the rover. He looks around as he gets out, still cautious even now, especially now, that things seem to be over.

Cobalt looks over towards Dale, asking on the meat side, "You need me ta stick little buddy?" He grins tuskily.

Jack parks his bike and slides off of the seat. He takes off his helmet and scans the area briefly after giving a nod to Hellborn. His hand strays near the holster in his leg, as if by reflex.

Da Chief, the rastafari ork, comes out, blowing out a huge cloud of smoke from the entrance of the 'pit. Dale just laughs and gets out of the car. "Drek, Omae, you come by anytime, ha!" Mule hops out of the landrover and stands, waiting for Da Chief.

The Rastafari Ork looks at Dale and then turns to Mule. " It was fast dere Mule, wah'cha tinkin?"

Mule responds after a second of thought. " You know I always hated dat fraggin keebler, I tink he set us up... we had a van of ragers come after us right on the highway comin back. " Mule wipes the end of his nose with his sleeve and then cracks his knuckles. " Got the chips, though, can check the quality in full now that we're back, should be good ta go. "

Da Chief nods, and sends Dale with a tilt of his head to fetch the chips out of the back of the rover. The Rasta ork is still seeping smoke from his nostrils, somehow. " But 'cha made it back quick yea? We cool 'bout dis' time, n'ja ready ta face ta reward o' dis one yea?"

Cobalt steps out of the car as well when Dale piles out, raking fingers through his windblown hair to try and straighten it out some. He looks over towards the others that also get out, studying them briefly before he looks over towards Da Chief and makes his way over in that direction, but only so far as to lean against the hood of the car he was in, taking a look around to keep an eye out as well. "Might wanna check da case fer traps 'r' sumtin'."

Hellborn looks over to Cobalt, but doesn't say anything. Still, he starts walking away from the Rover now. Just in case.

Jack walks to stand near the Scumpit, digging out a box of cigarettes from his duster.

An odd looking Troll with an Eyeband that glows neon green is walking to meet Dale, couging with every couple of steps. For a troll he's awfully thin, his dermal deposits coming out at sharp angles along his shoulders and head. He takes the chip cases and heads off somewhere on turf with them.

Mule speaks to Cobalt as Da Chief stares off into space for a second. " Aye, we will...dat troll de're is our tech guy, Ratch-Set's surprisingly keen for a trog, he's a little weird but he's ok. So dat's dat, guess we gotta show dat 'trix gang who's boss next, but 'ere. " Mule transfers more cash to each or your PAN accounts as per agreement, another 3 kay each, as said.

Da chief mutters something to Mule then nods to the group and heads back inside. Mule Translates. "Ya breeders are ok 'ere, if ya keep 'angin wit dat badass Ork back d'ere, now we gots ta tend to other biz, feel free to have some drinks on da house tonight, if ya wanna wait it out ti mornin' ta leave turf."

Cobalt nods a bit towards Mule and Da Chief but chuckles at the compliment. While others are pulling out cigarette's he unholsters his left pistol and ejects the clip, slotting a new clip in place so that he's loaded full on both guns. "Anytime ya need me bruddah's, ya jus' lemmie know an', if da price be right fer whatcha askin'..."

Jack lights a cigarette, then looks at the display on his Emperor. "Thanks for the offer, but I think I should get goin'," he nods to Mule. "Tell yer boss it was a pleasure doin' business with 'im." Jack touches two fingers to his brow in a quick salute to the other runners. "Good work out there." With that, he hops back on his bike and starts it up to head back to whatever he calls a home.

Hellborn quietly logs himself off of the comm. "Think ... will leave ... too," he notes, "Call ... if have ... biz." With that, he strolls out into the street. Aparently not all too worried about being attacked while walking home.

Cobalt logs out of the PAN as well and then heads over towards the Scumpit, "I'll be stickin' yah got any hot tuskah's on da payroll chummah?" He grins at Da Chief and Mule, "Or free be ev'n bettah!" He laughs and then continues towards the entrance.

<OOC> Osprey says, "I'll do Karma now. Ok! This wasn't too hard, just got split up between 8 hours ( 3 hours and 5 hours, round up), so I'll start with base karma of 2 per person, due to it still being somewhat too easy for you folks. However, I want to award a point for Cobalts rediculous right equipment/right skill at the right time, as well as a point to Hellborn for yet another amazing stunbolt. Jack gets the eagle eye award for best perception rolls and gets another point. Charlie, you bailed, so you only get 2. 3 for everyone else"
<OOC> Osprey says, "Cobalt you missed the first hiring fee, however, since you arrived late and missed the meet, if anyone is wondering Cheesy"
<OOC> Osprey says, "Charlie be more dynamic and you can get more, though you did show some signs of a leader-type."
