I'm making a super versatile character by cheesing out the used ware, but the chargen doesn't have the option.  It shouldn't be too hard to add as a new grade.  All you need is an option for:  Used (standard) and Used (alpha).  Of course, this would let people select used cultured bioware, or used alpha bioware, neither of which are allowed, but the point of the chargen right now is not to build sheets for people, they have to know the rules. It's no problem not to add the grade, of course, for the moment I'm just noting "Used" next to the piece of gear.

What are the cost differences for used cyberware? And this applies to all cyberware, and no bioware, correct?

Used ware costs x0.5 less, and costs 1.2x the essence.  And I think -2 availability.

The used grades you can have are:

Used alphaware cyber

Used basic cyber

Used basic bio

It is not available for: cultured bio, genetech, or nantotech

It's -1 availability.
