OK, by SR4 rules(both versions), we get (Intuition+logic)x3 Free Knowledge skills. In building my character in the chargen, when I hit 10 skills, I started getting charged for them, despite that, by RAW, I should be having 21 free skills.

Suggestion: Change the numbers that are saying the wrong things to the right ones?

You might want to double check your figures, because im fairly certain that hawk fixed the cg bug regarding knowledge skills.  You do mean 21 free build points and not free skills neh?

According to the BBB, page 76:

"Your character starts with a number of Knowledge skill points equal to (Logic+Intuition) x 3. You may also purchase additional Knowledge skill points at a rate of 2 BP per point."

From SR4A pdf, 85

"Your character starts with a number of Knowledge skill points
equal to (Logic + Intuition) x 3. You may also purchase additional
Knowledge skill points at a rate of 2 BP per point."


Now, my character has Logic of 4, Intuition of 3, so the total would be 21 Knowledge Skill Points.
Since I had to save 2 BP to cover my Sustaining Focus' binding, I should be at 398 BP. The program has me at 419 BP, which is 21 BP over what it should be. I have the 21 Knowledge Skill points, but, it turns out, I had to pay for half of what I should be getting for free, according to the rules. No, my math is not wrong.

Thank you. I was multiplying Log+Int by 3, but I should have then multiplied that by 2 BP.
This is fixed now.
