Hi,

I am making a pixie character to the Wild West, and there is some points the I'd like to ask about.
First, how much would cost to by an armor jacket to a pixie? One and a half the price, twice the price?
Second, the book Runner's Companion in the page 84 under the topic Not Metahuman says that the pixie has an maxmun Edge o 7, but the charGen don't abide by that.
Third and last, To bind a foci with build points you pay 1 for force right?

Obs.: My congratulation on the great job with the CharGen, even if it is pré-beta, it is very good.

Please Note:

Pre-Beta CG does not abide by a lot of Character Generation rules. There will be things you can do that the Books do not allow. It is up to the Players to at least know the CG rules provided by the books.

Thank you.

I would use the normal rules for metahuman modified gear.  It's in the base book, though I forget what the multiplier is.  Honestly, pixies make me want to bash my head against the wall when they enter the game as PCs (what is the goddamn POINT and why are they so fucking POPULAR?) but you can make whatever character you want for the time being Tongue  If I was running my own game I might charge a different multiplier for custom pixie gear if pixies were allowed in the first place (doubtful) but because there is no GM to create house rules, just use the closest analogue in the base book.  Unless you feel like charging yourself extra, though I dunno why you would Tongue

It's simple, really.  Aside from the abysmal body and strength, the rest of their attributes exceed the norm.  They have 3/8(12) agility and reaction.  Which means that they get less dice to soak, but more dice to dodge.

Also, they have charisma 3/8(12) and willpower 3/8(12).  Add that to their natural astral sight, and you have a very powerful wizard.  Who also has the innate ability to turn invisible at will.

Ok, I guess I get it.  Those are some pretty sick stats...  I guess it's Catalyst's fault for making such a retarded, unthematic race so awesome stat-wise that nobody wouldn't play them, given the choice...  I think it was a really boneheaded move on their part, because by fluff pixies are super duper rare, but a MUX left unattended will quickly fill up with enough pixies that you'd suspect them to be as numerous, or more numerous than dwarves in the general population, I bet.

hi,
I chose the pixie because i used to play eartdown (suposedly, the  last time that the magic come to earth), and my favorite race was the windling, they where fun to roleplay. But yes the pixies make dam good mages. Wink
I just chard my self double to the armor jaket and life style(should be 1.5, by the companion).

Thanks for the help.

One last thing the grid adress is still shadowrun.dnaco.net:4201?

Pixie's in Chainmail!

Just to note: Wearing a lot of armor can give you a negative dice pool.
