Welcome to the desert of the real.

Crypto has continued to be busy with professional concerns, but he has remained in contact and is planning to return to active duty on New Seattle this weekend. In the meantime Hawk has upgraded CharGen a bit more, and Rheiv and Kujata have been working on entering missing data into the databases.

Which leads me to an announcement I realize will be unpopular, but I've given a lot of thought to: Runners Companion. We won't be opening with it. We could, if we wanted to spend even more time updating databases, but I'm far more interested in getting things up and running than in constantly doing data entry. Add to this the fact that our current CharGen is an interim CharGen, meaning that it doesn't do much of the figuring for us (we have to do it ourselves), and we're looking at some major slowdowns in terms of character approval as well.

So after we've managed to get the damn thing open, then we will worry about updating the databases to accommodate Runners Companion. Don't plan your opening character with RC components.
