Hey everyone. Sorry to have dissapeared on all of you like that. I've been trying to get back onto SR3 but my PC's been nuked, and I can't create another. Any suggestions? An email to timothy.perry69@yahoo.com would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

A few weeks ago, the spelling of my @name was somehow changed. The final E was changed to an A. Perhaps the same thing happened to you.

Kaide's account is fine, name and all, as far as we can see. It even shows that he logged onto the PC on March 30: the day he originally posted the problem. I will email him, but short of changing his password I don't know what problem he is encountering or what we can do to fix it. We need more details.

That's wierd that it says I'm not accepting emails from your addy, and that it says I logged in on March 30th, because so far as I can tell, neither is true. I'll have to check from my dad's house tomorrow. Thanks for the help. Smiley

The last two times he's logged on (March 30 and April 7), the IP matches the IP he's used to log onto the forum here. So Kaide can log on. He just can't stay logged on, for some reason. The problem's not on our end, his PC object has no unusual code on it.

It could be that he's having trouble with his client, or perhaps his ISP is complaining about the MUX.  Perhaps, Kaide, you could post what shows up on your screen when you attempt to log on.  (Not including passwords or anything, of course.) 

Alternatively, you could try a different client or even just icky raw telnet to see if that helps.

It kind of sounds to me like the port is closed. But if he's logging on from home, that seems unlikely.
